Live in rental apt. how do yiu remove? hair dryer? goo gone? not concerned with stripping paint. just want to be able to remove.

I had Same issue when had to remove from truck I sold. I took flat scraper and got the top part off. Then used hand sanitizer bc I had it in auto. I rub this on the glue strip that was left and in about 1-2 minutes was completely finished. I think rubbing alcohol would work just as well if not better.
