If you want to steam veggies for two people, this item is way too small for you! If you want to steam a single, 5 oz portion of salmon, this item is way too small for you! If you want to steam a medium+ portion of broccoli or cauliflower for one person, this item is way to small for you! Nice quality but very small.

Lid fits well and it steams like it should. However the shape means it can't stack into anything else you own and it's hard to jam frozen veggies into the bowl. Doesn't hold a full bag of veggies.

When I got it, the first idea was I will return this bowl. First of all, it’s too small and wired shape, doesn’t match any other bowls in the kitchen. I think at least give it a try which I did. Boil egg. It came out okay. I still uncomfortable with it’s size and shape. But I think I will this wired monster because it works. So, that’s it. Too small, only for cooking very little amount maybe one stock of Broccoli

Research shows that steaming in microwave with tiniest amount of water is the healthiest way. This bowl makes it so easy. I usually steam frozen broccoli or fresh cauliflower. For frozen veggies no additional water is needed, for fresh veggies you can skip water if you wash them right before. Please note that this is a small bowl. I only use it for my toddlers. For bigger batches you'll need a bigger bowl

This thing is so perfect and smartly designed. My only wish is that they would make a larger size as well since I use the crap out of this one!
