Does the handle function as a pump or is it just gravity feed.

When the Duramax is positioned above the tank to be filled it will operate in gravity mode. You will only need to squeeze the pump handle a few times to get gas to flow. When the Duramax is positioned below or at the same level as the tank to be filled you will need to operate it in siphon mode. You will need to repeatedly squeeze the pump handle until you have filled your tank to the level you want it to. How well will this hold up in driving into higher elevations from low elevation as in 1000ft to 7000ft?

Should be fine…may have to vent a bit of fumes.

How long does it take to empty a full tank?

It takes awhile, not gonna lie. I do not have the exact timeframe, but the fuel does not flow fast out of the tank
