Flys well doing its job at keeping the birds away . Not fit for purpose in British weather. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Effective to some extent as a bird deterent *by W***T on 21 October 2024* Used to protect garden apple trees from blackbirds and jackdaws. I estimate that it was 90% effective in keeping jackdaws from the apple crop, about 50 -60% effective against blackbirds. The best deterent I have found to reduce fruit loss due to birds as it is not practical to net the trees. I bought one last year and a second one this year.
