Great toy sword!
I bought this as a replacement sword for my son’s broken Zombie Strike Nerf sword. Nerf stopped making those; so I ended up on a “quest” for a new play sword. After careful reviews and time pondering this purchase, I made it. Let me tell you, this sword is quality! It looks like a real sword. It is durable and functional. My son LOVES this thing! It may be his new favorite toy weapon. He was so disappointed when his Nerf sword broke, after receiving this for Christmas he forgot all about the old sword. He play fights his brothers regularly, and they are not easy on their toys. It has yet to show damage. The sword looks real, but it is not sharp and it does not hurt. It is pretty long in size and the handle and grip are good sized. It looks like something you would see people using for medieval role play. I would totally buy this again- 1,000 times over- it was a great value for what I spent!

Durable and Surprisingly Realistic for the Price
Who would have thought this cheap sword would turn out to be so durable and decently real looking? This product is great. It is lightweight, but not "too" light that you can't get momentum on the swing. It's a fun prop that I originally bought for a Halloween costume (I went as Jon Snow), but now I keep it in my office and swing it around for fun when the day is slow. I'm coming up on having it for a year now and it's in great shape! From far away, it even looks somewhat realistic. The only con is it's a bit short. If you're looking for a big broadsword or something, this isn't that. It's fairly short. I could see this being good for Halloween costumes or cheap theater performances. Enjoy!

3rd one
This toy is great. I've bought it for my now 10 year old every couple years. It hold up very well. It's foam but got a hard core and is just the best play sword ever. Last for years but kids are rough on stuff and so, yes, we've gone through a few but I will continue to buy this one again.

A little too solid and durable
Okay let's start with why I gave it 4 stars. The blade is good quality from what I can tell and is light and easy to use. The handle is surprisingly short and can barely fit an adult's hand. That's not a bad thing it was just be nice if it was a bit bigger. The handle is made of hard plastic so it doesn't have much grip but that can easily be fixed. Wrapping a bit of fake leather around the handle is one way to fix the grip issue or even just some duct tape will give it more grip. Two of the things that Amazon is asking about are absolutely ridiculous for this sharpness and rust resistance. It's not a metal blade so those don't apply. The one thing That I have the most issue with about this sword Is that's it can't really be used as a LARPing sword. At least not right away. The foam of the blade is far too hard to be used for LARPing without causing harm. It obviously will need to be broken in and have the foam softened up before it it can be used safely without risk of injury. If it's not clear I do like this little sword, and yes it is little. This is a short sword in terms of length and blade thickness. I do like it and it's good quality my only issue is the hardness of the foam and the fact that I can't realistically use it for LARPing, which is the entire reason I bought it, without breaking it in. However that should be fairly simple.

Great sword for kids!
I am so impressed with this foam sword. My 3 and 5 year old have been swinging around play swords for the last year and my husband and I decided to upgrade their swords to something a little more hefty. The quality is shocking. The sword is heavy, but my three year old still has no problem lifting and playing with the sword. I’m not sure how it’s made but I think there might be a bar running through the center of the sword.. but the end of the sword is very soft and bendable. Since my kids have been taught how to handle swords, I’m not concerned about them getting injured. The design is medieval and looks legit and they can put the sword in a hip scabbard and it just touches the ground for my three year old (he’ll grow into it). Would recommend this to anyone with a kid who loves weapons.

Prop only, does not stand up to use or play
I bought three of these, one arrived broken (one side of the guard was cracked off) and was easily replaced. Every single one broke in exactly the same way. I bought these for my kids for Renaissance Faires and playing, and they did not stand up to the first time they were used. Good for a prop if you don't intend to use it, at all, for any kind of play or sparring. I wanted foam so my kids wouldn't hurt themselves, but they just break too easily.

Great buy
Very well made my boys loved. It looked very realistic and they did not get hurt using it.

A pesar que se me hizo un poco cara, su calidad está bien. esta bien hecha y su consistencia de material se siente duradero para soft combat.

The body of the sword is strong. There are no holes, and it doesn’t bend.

I purchased 3 and all were excellent quality. They are very sturdy and good for play and practice. You can’t hand them to your children and allow them to play rough with each other as they are super durable and could cause harm, and not meant for that. They are hard enough that they can bruise but soft enough to not cause serious damage. Best used with adult supervision / adult with child rather than child with child, which was exactly what I was looking for. These are a perfect in between the solid plastic or wood options and the pool noodle style. With my 5 year old swinging hard enough to bruise I was blocking with no defect to product.

From the looks of it it’s pretty good very Sturdy, if you put force into your hit it will hurt… For the most part this sword is one-handed. unfortunately it is not balanced, but a rock two could fix that. The guard to protect your hands has nothing in it but I can feel a pretty strong piece of something wood, strong plastic? that appears to go from bottom to top. Also there’s no balance I tried my best to show where the balance point is in the picture but…. the balance point should be near the grip not on the blade but a rock or two will fix that. All in all I plan to test it and I will come back to review it,It’s good for kids but I have some people who will find this fun too. and if it’s sturdy enough it’s a better. “quality” will last a long time but we’ll see.

First review from Singapore! :) After ordering a prop sword of a similar size from another website & discovering that it was tragically sent back to its China warehouse as it couldn't fit in cargo, I went on a frantic search for a replacement & settled on purchasing this sword after reading the many 5-star reviews posted by previous customers overseas. To be honest, I had qualms that it might never reach my doorstep but it finally arrived this evening in pristine condition, with its very own packaging & patents! It's a beautiful sword you really shouldn't underestimate, because it does have some tangible weight & can very likely hit someone when swung, so it's best kept away from young children. I honestly love it & won't get sick of holding it. Highly recommended! :)
