12 x 12 x 0.12 Inch Acrylic See-Through Mirror, 30% Transparent

From what I can see, the reflectivity of the mirror is really good and as soon as I get everything completed I'll add photos to show it. The mirror itself had a small fracture in the top middle of it which was a slight bummer but I should be able to cover it in the project I'm using it for. The box itself wasn't even labeled as fragile so it's most definitely Amazon's fault, not the seller's, yet the seller gets punished for it. Will definitely look to purchase again for other projects.

Nice quality item. Only negative was two corners broken in shipping. Luckily it was still big enough to do the project so all good.

I purchased this acrylic material to construct a personalized smart mirror and the appearance of the material is clear - but after one day, I observed a physical flaw in the middle area - this flaw is easy to see when the light from the monitor is at a high level. To resolve this I sent a message to the vendor and included multiple photographs. The owner replied in a short amount of time plus provided a new piece of acrylic at no additional cost. It is uncommon to receive assistance of this quality, particularly when dealing with a company that has few employees. By acting in this manner, the company demonstrates that it prioritizes the people who buy its products. Due to the way the owner managed the situation, I plan to purchase from them again. If a person wants a business that provides repairs or replacements and acts with professional concern, I suggest this seller.

Size was correct for that I give 1 star ! . 24x36 sheet was very scratched (on the coating ) that was covering the sheet(on both sides ) how ever I did not want to remove until I cut the sheet in fear I would scratch it . After cutting the sheet i removed the coating and I was VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!! The sheet was scratched all over middle and around the outsides!!!! Almost like someone wiped all around the outside edges . The center looked like a finger print that was rubbing up and down to remove something . I paid eighty five dollars for a piece of junk . But you wouldn't know until u remove the film ,. After I looked at it I held to the light and seen a ton of little holes that wasn't visible until you put light behind it . Total trash . This was a magic mirror gift for xmas , but now after I worked for 2 weeks getting it ready for a gift , and now it's 2 days before xmas and spending 400 on the gift . THAT WAS UNEXPECTED AND UNCALLED FOR FOR THE PRICE I PAID !!!!!!in the photos you can see the scratches on the film , well those transfer to the mirror!!!!! I'll update the finish mirror photos after I cool off !!!!!!

I love this stuff! I use it on my laser cutter to make Galaxy Boxes, and it works like a charm! Note to newbies: Keep the protective sheets on while cutting. Also, you can tell which side is which if you look at the edges. If you can't see the depth of the thickness from the surface, then you're looking at the backside, and Be Careful of scratching this side. This is the reflective side. The other side will show some depth at the edge, and will also scratch, but it's not quite so critical. I can't wait to get more and make more things!

I bought this to use it with my MagicMirror. It made it to my door very quickly but the quality is not good! It get scratched very easily and for some reason I have finger prints on the back of it! I tried removing them but they seems to be done during coating the mirror. Also, its very reflective and make it very hard to see through it and look at the screen behind it

Windex took the interior coating right off. I'm not sure how IPA would be less stringent. Either plan to keep away from dust until the last minute, or use a microfiber cloth. Now I'm out the $37 I paid. Feels bad.

This is exactly as described. Works as well as to be expected. As any two-way mirror works, one side must be kept significantly dimmer than the other to appear reflective on the brighter side (the reflective material reflects about 50% and transmits the other 50%...and this works in both directions. When one side is kept dark with respect to another, significantly less light it transmitted from the dark to bright side of the mirror than is reflected from the bright side back. Thus the dark side is not perceived on the bright side, as the reflected light overpowers any transmitted light from the dark side of the mirror. The bright side also transmits 50% of it's light to the dark, and with the dark having little light reflecting from it's side, light from the bright side overpowers the reflected light and is perceived as a see-through window). I used this to make a back plate for a custom birdhouse with my daughters which we have attached to the outside of one of our home's windows. We'll see how well it works with the birds :) The challenge will be keeping the indoors darker than outdoors, particularly at night with lights on in the home...

Bought the 3mm sheet for a Magic Mirror project and its been perfect so far. The sheet was well packaged and had no marks or cracks. Reflections look normal and light comes through the other side well. I had to cut the sheet to size using a razor blade to create a groove then applying pressure until the sheet snapped along the line. There is some marks along the edge but nothing too bad. Haven't tried cleaning yet as some reviews stated that cleaning damages the acrylic and the mirror coating. I can say I recommend this for any magic mirror projects. Although I'd say get the 3mm one as its less likely to bend and distort the reflection.

Mirror has no protection on it at all and the mirroring comes off with just cleaning alone. I literally was using a soft paper towel to clean it and it removed the mirroring. Very disappointed

It's just not the right thing, it arrived cracked. Worthless as a see-through mirror
