First impression of opening the box are positive. The drone is inside a sturdy zipper case which is perfect for traveling. The drone, the extra battery and the controller have their own compartment inside the case which they fit neatly and do not move around the case when transporting the case from one place to another. Extra space is available to store usb cables and the phone holder. The drone is very light and looks good quality. It does not come with a TF card, so you have to buy one yourself. There is an extra set of propellers included which is great just in case they get damaged. The controller does not have words to explain what each button does, but there is a cardboard template overlay to simplify the effort included with instructions, so it is helpful in the beginning. They are very easy to learn; in two days I remember every direction. The home button that returns the drone where it started is great because if you cannot see where your drone is, press the return button and comes back where it started. It comes with three standard USB cables so you can charge everything at the same time and have them ready to fly quick. It comes with two batteries which is great – longer flying time. The batteries say they last for 20 minutes and two days that I tested the drone has been very windy in Florida and it did not last the full 20 minutes, but it was decent time. Maybe I might buy a battery later on that lasts longer. User manual is easy to understand and follow instructions. I was having some issues with connecting the drone to the controller, and I contacted customer service. Great customer service, always willing to help. The app has videos that are very helpful for someone who knows nothing about drones. Recording or taking a picture is easy because I just click on my phone. You can also do it on the controller, but it is faster on the phone. Pictures that takes are saved on the phone, but the videos are only on the card, so I had to transfer them from my computer. I do not know if it is something in the setting to change, but it would be great if the videos save on the phone as well, so I do not have to take extra steps to get my videos. Going to the settings and making changes is easy, you can change limit height of the drone can go, but I have not made any changes yet. I believe Ruko makes quality items because my son has a robot from Ruko and it has survived a lot of throwing and dropping and still working. I think this drone should last us a long time and would be awesome for our vacation in Europe this summer. I am not an expert on drones, but my husband is the one who is more into drones and had tried a lot of drone before and said that this one is a good drone. I did take a few videos with the drone; it was windy, and I was moving the drone a little bit too much, so the video is a bit shaky. Quality of the video is good.

This is a my second Roku drone. This one has a better control system since it actually plugs into your phone for maintaining signal connection. The camera / picture quality and video quality are exceptional. A great mid level drone with high end features.

Our 13-year-old son had been asking for a drone for quite some time, so we decided to get him one for Christmas. After doing some research, we settled on the Ruko U11S, and overall it has been a great choice. Right out of the box, the drone was easy to set up and get flying. As parents, we really appreciated how beginner-friendly it is. The controls are intuitive, and the safety features made us feel more comfortable letting him fly it on his own after a little practice. Our son picked it up quickly and was confidently flying it within a short time. The build quality feels solid for the price and handled a few beginner bumps and landings well. The camera truly impressed us — it takes amazing pictures, and we are very happy with the picture quality. It has been a lot of fun for him to capture photos and videos, which adds to the overall experience. After flying it for a couple of weeks, one of the motors did lock up. We contacted customer service, and they have been excellent. They responded quickly and are already sending us a replacement drone. The customer service experience has been very reassuring, and we truly appreciate how smoothly they handled the issue. We’re hopeful the replacement will fly for a long time. Despite the hiccup, our son absolutely loves this drone and uses it every chance he gets. Overall, we’re very happy with the Ruko U11S and would still recommend it for kids, teens, or anyone looking for a beginner-friendly drone backed by great customer service.

I can't say enough GOOD things about this drone. But, I'll give it a shot. Let's just start with 'customer support'. They have been absolutely fabulous. If customer support is important to you, then you can rest assured. I had a minor problem, they took care of it immediately, by phone, a real human. The drone itself, is awesome! I'm just getting started, so I would consider myself a newbie, but I also have an engineering degree, so I kind of know what to look for in the hardware, and this is really well built. It even comes with an extra set of blades, and an extra battery. The pouch it comes in is nice and sturdy, almost a hard shell case, and will actually last. It's just a great little drone all around. Customer support was excellent. Like I said, I really can't say anything bad. If you're new to this industry, there's really not much risk here. It's a great little entry-level drone at a great price, with great customer support, and on top of it, you're going to learn a lot about drones just by themselves as you get to know your drove. I say just do it. Give them your money! I did. I would do it again.

Battery life of the remote is terrible...I take it off the charger after letting it charge for 2hrs. I turn it on it's not even at 100% it's at like 88, no big deal...then I start getting it set up to fly it's down to 50%, by the time the gps signal is strong enough I'm down to 10%, the propellors get spinning and the controller is dead I've had it since Wednesday with a combined 30 seconds of flight, won't be buying ruko again

Bastante fácil de manejar sin embargo el mayor problema que tiene es que las baterías no duran ni 15 minutos. Con las dos baterías completamente cargadas no se puede utilizar más de 30 minutos y hay que hacer un intercambio de batería a los 15 minutos Ese sí lo veo como un fallo.

Easy to fly drone, the video quality is pretty clear for a beginner drone. The quality of the drone is just as great as other high-end drones. The drone itself comes in an easy-carry hard case also. The only thing not included is an external SD card (which is fine because you can record/snapshot directly to your phone. The speed goes about 12.5mph which is pretty quick for a starter. Customer service is fast and typically gets back to you within a few hours same day (which is awesome) and will help guide you through troubleshooting or any questions/issues encountered. Overall well worth the price!

Overall: The Ruko U11S is a solid choice that outperforms others in its price range. As someone new to drones, I spent a lot of time researching before deciding on the U11S. I looked at several top-rated brands, including Holy Stone, but at the price point, Ruko offered more of the features I wanted. The U11S is stable, intuitive, and packed with helpful functions such as Remote ID, Follow Me, and Return-to-Home (RTH). Highly recommend! After purchasing, I reached out a few times with questions/concerns, all due to my beginner learning curve, and each time, they responded quickly and went above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied. When I posted a review mentioning frustration with the controller’s charge life, Ruko immediately contacted me, offered a replacement, and followed up until the new unit arrived.
