A little bit on the bassy side of sound, but it's otherwise very high-quality. Music, games, movies, and even calls sound wonderful in it. I can't say the same for the microphone that comes in with one of the cables, as it tended to have a lot of white noise. Otherwise, the microphone was clear and my calls were audible with some noise cancellation, albeit it sucks to need that. The headset's comfortable enough to wear all day, as the cups are soft and the headband is quality. The cable length is great, but I wish it was a tad little longer for my case as my PC is under my desk and the cable barely reaches the headset on my head when seated a tad too far away from my desk. One of the cables also didn't last very long, as I had to switch to the other after half a year(?) of using it. Speaking of which, props to Corsair for bringing a mic cable and a non-mic cable for the headset. I love the simplicity of the headset - pure 3.5mm analog connection and no volume slider to worry about, like most other headphones. The VIRTUOSO was a solid buy.

I've been using the Corsair Virtuoso Pro headset for months now, and I can honestly say it's one of the best headsets I've ever owned. The sound quality is truly phenomenal the audio is so crisp and clear, making every detail pop. As someone who has always used closed-back headphones, this is my first experience with an open-back headset, and I absolutely love it. The design allows me to hear my surroundings more easily, which is great for staying aware of my environment, while the audio itself has a natural, expansive quality that's incredibly immersive. Despite being an open-back design, I've found that it barely leaks any sound, which is a huge plus. The versatility of this headset is fantastic, as it works amazingly with both my PC and my Xbox Series X. It comes with a mic attachment, which is a great bonus. The mic sounds pretty good for what it is, but for my primary use, I stick with my dedicated PC microphone. The build quality is top-notch, and the headset feels very premium and durable. Comfort is another major highlight. I've spent countless hours gaming and studying while listening to music, and the generous padding on the earcups and headband makes it one of the most comfortable headsets I've ever worn. I can wear it for extended periods without any fatigue. Seriously, every aspect of this headset is five stars in my book. I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, comfortable, and versatile audio experience.

If i use them wirelessly, they cut out constantly. so i leave them plugged in constantly, which is bull, because i paid almost 300 bucks for some wireless gaming headphones, i should be able to use them wirelessly. So i contacted support, which determined i needed to do an RMA. BUT they made me send my headphones in FIRST. so then I was out of headphones for 2 weeks while they verify and send new headphones back. I got the RMA Headphones back, and within a week, the microphone is externally cracked. Still works great, but why do i have 300 dollar headphones that can't handle normal wear and tear? I am incredibly disappointed, and will likely not go with Corsair for audio. Which is sad, because the rest of my gaming peripherals are Corsair.

I am ranking this headset with 4 stars instead of 5 because I purchased the iCUE version and there are issues with iCUE. If Corsair fixes my issues with iCUE, my rating will go up to 5 stars. Comfort: The original earcups are a bit shallow. Thankfully, you can buy thicker replacement earcups here on Amazon for only a small extra charge. I chose replacements with velvet touching my head to reduce sweating issues and vinyl outer shells to keep out outside sounds. Noise Cancellation: These are not noise canceling headphones. They are over-ear headphones that completely enclose your ears inside the earcups. Outside noise reduction is mainly done by your earcups. I am quite satisfied with the level of noise reduction by these headphones, but again, they are not active noise-canceling headphones. Sound quality: Your sound quality will depend on the method of connection. - If you cable to your source using the headphone jack, you'll get the best possible sound quality. - If you use the wireless receiver, you'll get excellent sound quality - If you use the bluetooth capability, you'll get very good sound quality, but perhaps not quite as good as the other options. Lag: This will depend on your computer and the software you're using for sound. I use this headset primarily with Microsoft Teams and find that there is very little lag when using the wireless receiver. Lag is slightly greater using the bluetooth connection. Range: - The provided USB-A to USB-C cable is 2m long. When using it, you're tethered to your workstation. - If you use a 3-channel headphone cable, you may be able to increase your range while remaining tethered. - I will not discuss any options for 3rd-party cable extension adaptations because they will depend on the product. - The USB wireless receiver is excellent, but doesn't provide great range or good through-the-walls capability. I can move away from my workstation maybe 10m or so in open air and maybe 4m through walls. When I originally purchased the headset, the microphone's wireless range was only 2m in open air, but after an update in 2021, this appears to be mostly resolved. - Bluetooth gives the greatest range. It's better in open air and through the walls by about half. Multiple connectivity: I've used these headphones in wireless mode with both the wireless adapter and bluetooth connections active simultaneously to different sources. I typically connect bluetooth to my phone or to a second workstation, while I use the USB wireless adapter with my primary workstation. I can use them simultaneously. My only issues are remembering to mute the conversation that I don't want to be talking to. I haven't tried tethered multiple connectivity and cannot provide any review on it. Modes: - USB Cabled mode: This headset cannot charge while wireless turned on. It charges quickly, but there have been times when I needed to switch to the USB cable when my battery was low. - Headphone Cabled mode: I haven't tried this mode enough to describe how and when it works. - Wireless mode: The USB wireless adapter is automatically used (if it's connected to a device) when the headphones are turned to wireless mode. Bluetooth can be turned on while the headphones are turned to wireless mode. The headphones will connect to a bluetooth device while also connected to another device via the USB wireless adapter. I consider this to be a useful feature. iCUE: It's great when it works. My workstation is an HP ZBook-16 portable workstation running Windows 10 and I typically put it in sleep mode overnight. I use iCUE to adjust the lighting settings on the headset to minimal lighting to extend battery life (only the mic turns red when it's muted). iCUE works well immediately after reboot, but it goes into an unrecoverable state when the workstation resumes from sleep and its functions fail. Again, if Corsair will fix the iCUE issue, I'll give this product 5 stars.

Comfortable, not too heavy on the head/ears, clear crisp sound, no connection issues, volume control is great and the microphone picks up everything. Great for the gamer in your life. Would buy again!

O produto é excelente, foi exatamente o que eu estava procurando, um headset que fosse "aberto", ou seja, que não isolasse o som exterior. É muito difícil encontrar um produto assim. Como eu e minha esposa trabalhamos remotamente de casa, para mim era importante tanto eu poder escutar quando ela fala como também outros sons, como a TV que fica ligada no canal de notícias. Também não falar gritando como normalmente acontecesse quando usamos um headset que isola o som externo. Gostei muito que a almofada é de tecido, o que é muito agradável, mas um ponto negativo é que esse tecido descolou da estrutura, que é removível. Eu colei o pano com superbonder, só que como eu deixei para colar quando praticamente tinha descolado tudo, então deu um pouco de trabalho, mas no final deu certo. Minha dica é fazer ao primeiro sinal de descolamento para não dar tanto trabalho. As imagens que mandei já foi com a colagem feita e já com vários meses de uso.

Debido a esto, en cuanto a portabilidad los Corsair son mejores por la rigidez de la funda, ya que los podrías meter a una mochila a maleta sin miedo a que se dañen, aun así, existen fundas rígidas para loas DT 990 que se venden por separado. -Los Corsair incluyen dos cables desmontables, uno con micrófono, el cual es como el de la mayoría de audifonos "Gamer", es decir, no tiene nada de especial ni se compara con cualquier micrófono condensador barato. Una desventaja de ambos cables, es la textura, ya que al rosar con la ropa se produce un ruido que de alguna manera se transmite mediante los audífonos y puede llegar a ser un poco molesto. Por otro lado, los DT 990 no tienen micrófono y el cable no se puede desconectar, pero este no produce ningún ruido al rosar con la ropa. -En cuanto a comodidad, los Corsair al tener las copas de tela, son más frescas y cómodas que cualquiera de vinipiel que usan la mayoría de audífonos, y la compresión de la diadema no es mucha, por lo que son cómodos al usarse durante unas 2 o 3hrs, sin embargo, después de este tiempo ya comienzan a molestar un poco. I can only assume poor quality of materials and/or construction, really disappointing for myself and the receipient. Quality of product definitely not worth over $200.
