The router table works great and does everything you need it to. The only gripe I have is that I wish it were made of better materials than MDF and plastic. It's still a good buy for the money though.

Really pleased with this purchase it’s making my life so much easier it works great very accurate. Easy to set up.

I bought this along with a Skil router to upgrade and replace my homemade router table and palm router. The construction of the table is very good. If I had added T Track/mitre slot and power and featherboards to my homemade table it would have probably cost as much as this new table. The table arrived with a small but visible chip in the laminate on the fence. I called the company and they were great; immediately sent a replacementbut they sent a replacement fence, not the laminated face. One of the screws holding the router base plate in place on the table was rusted. They sent a replacement. But the question is, why? What kind of QC is going on here? Next, I thought the quick mount plate would allow me to have several of them and have a couple different routers I could easily switch between. Uh...no. The quick release mounting plate is SCREWED INTO the table top! And when I called Skil....the guy (who was extremely helpful BTW!) said, hey, yeah, that's kind of dumb? In other words, this isn't just a quick release plate; you have to unscrew the entire thing just to use the quick release lever. Duh? But no harm. I only use the new router anyway. Now an interesting quirk; the computer display on the top of my Skil router, which is a great idea....is of course completely invisible when the router is mounted on this table. So you can only see it and set it when you've removed the router to change bits; not a deal killer. Next highly irritating thing? The vacuum hose outlet on the fence is flush with the table top, so if you are using a 4" to 2 1/4" adapter like I have...it won't fit. And i have yet to find a solution. And also - there's a small clear plastic adapter for the base for dust and chips...but I can't find a hose or adapter that fits on it in the small space between the router base and front control panel of the table. For $119, it is much more than I expected but I'm wondering just who the engineer at Skil was who designed this thing. Or maybe it is just my ignorance. And finally...one reason I bought this was that I needed some inch markings on the table top so I can visuallly and easily make sure my fence is parallel. And having used the router twice, they are almost entirely worn off. I have also failed to figure out how to mount the little shelves in the "tool storage areas" so they don't fall off if I move the table. On the plus side? very smooth. Very accurate. Good accessories; i like in particular the two featherboards which I desperately needed for better routing and I like the setup that allows you to raise or lower the router through the table top with a 4mm allen wrench. I also like the fact that the router has both 1/2 and 1/4" collets, but that's the router...not the table. I also like the fact that there are two dedicated switched outlets under the table that allow you to control the router with an external switch. Overall it is a step up from what I was using, but these design defects are baffling.

Adjusting router height from the top is worth every penny for this baby.. easy easy awesome for small shop, some plastic for sure.. but for the weekender on a budget great stuff

Realizas una inversión en adquirirla, a cambio te evitas muchos inconvenientes de ajustes y adecuaciones, adquiririendo esta mesa tendrás la certeza de que es 100% funcional. Recomendable estar al pendiente del precio qué se mueve frecuentemente y puedes adquirirla como en mi caso en aprox 2,700.00 pesos mexicanos. Te repito inviertes pero te quitas de problemas.

Tuve una base similar para router craftsman y esta Skil es muy superior, en calidad y en versatilidad. Los compartimientos laterales son geniales, lo único malo es que no cierran bien las puertas (no son herméticas) y les entra mucho aserrín a esos compartimientos. Por todo lo demás, es un accesorio genial!

Es justo lo que necesitaba, fácil de armar y de operar, realmente facilita mucho el trabajo
