Great product, nice and sticky,just cleaned the floor first and down it went

Product states it is friction resistant, however the tape peeled off the floor after one day of use. The adhesion and durability do not live up to the description.

I ordered this a year ago and it was stickier than the most recent order which did not stick (coming up with light foot traffic). Same floor preparation as before. Perhaps I got a dud roll or maybe they've changed the product?
