Head Swim Glove

These were great investment. I have been snorkeling all my life and never invested in these types of gear. I was impressed with the added propulsion and maneuverability that they gave me. plus added protection for my hands. I highly recommend these to anyone snorkeling or diving or even river runners they are nice fit no slippage off the hands well padded and very well made. I recently had been snorkeling and my fin strap broke and these allowed me to get to shore safely even with the shallow reef that required timing your traverses across shallow stretches with the waves.

This pair is a replacement for my original pair from a different source. They had faded and stitching was tearing. So I purchased a new pair from Head. They have worked perfectly as described with no fading or wear issues. These were a little more than the originals I returned but much better performing.

I bought these before and they fit very well. The price is right. My only complaint is that they lasted me only one year. I swim 3-4 times a week, so I use them a lot. I am not sure how durable other swim gloves are. Perhaps after a year all swim gloves start to come apart at the seems.

For use in a walking pool every day. Holds up much better than the Speedo s that wore out in a month or two

I have been searching for the perfect swim glove, and I found it here. Too many have been flimsy with short finger slots and don’t provide the resistance I was looking for. These are high quality material, excellent stitching and a perfect fit. They are great for water aerobics classes.

I used speedo/ darkfin / and others to swim a mile at the gym 5 days/week. I have found that the Head version fits quite tight and the web space between fingers do not allow for one to expand the hand open wide (as in other types). Like the rubber palm (as in the Speedo version also). Orange piping at the end of the glove is snug but buying the larger size mit would help this situation out (I have a large size right now) The Velcro wrapping under at wrist is also made for a larger wrist and I use rubber bands to hold the "tabs" from hanging in the way and coming free. I considered this type of glove because I need a short wrist collar wearing my watch is a lap counter. The water flow through the mit (which with I had never noticed using other gloves) seem to be trapped in the glove when you swim. On the whole - given the time to order a new set of mits... I will most likely not be reordering these.

I have small hands and the gloves fit me perfectly. I use these gloves to Surf with and they never slip off but the velcro has become frayed and needs to be replaced. If I didn't know how to sew I would certainly buy this product again.

I use them for "aqua aerobics" exercise in the pool. They work fine for adding resistance and assisting movement. The fit is good, but I'd prefer more than the very tips of my fingers to stick out (like maybe just past the first knuckle).

Theses are an excellent training glove for lap swimming. Unfortunately my size is never available (need medium) Only small & large.
