Is this for 1 treatment?

Yes, the Pure Pond Bomb is a single treatment, but it is a concentrated dose of beneficial bacteria and pond enzymes that will continuously release for four weeks.

How large of a pond...how many gallons will one application treat?

I get great results using monthly in my 3000 gallon Koi pond.

How often do you use this product?

One of the unique and interesting aspects of this product is that it is visual. As long as the ball remains in your pond, it is slow releasing bacteria as needed into the pond. When it is gone, it is time for a new one. The time will vary depending on the needs of the pond. Nate at Practical Garden Ponds 484-237-2080

Will this remove tannins in the water?

Hello Colleen, Thanks for asking! The Pure Pond Bomb is a unique combination of beneficial bacteria and enzymes that work fast to clean up organic waste and break down ammonia and nitrites. Beneficial Bacteria will help in the breakdown of material that contribute to tannin leaching, it will not directly remove tannins already existing in the water column. Activated carbon will help in reduction of tannins. I hope this is helpful! Dana at Practical Garden Ponds, 484-237-2080, Ext.1
