Works great. Just make sure to wet your nose before, I forgot to do that the first time.

Treats sebborheic dermatitis & keratosis pilaris
Charcoal is active against the candida that causes Seborrheic dermatitis, but it has to remain on the skin for like 20 minutes. That makes this product perfect for it, especially if you're prone to getting it the creases alongside your nose. I also have keratosis pilaris, and a weekly peel is perfect for removing the dead layers that my skin simply refuses to shed by itself. I've found that leaving it on 30-35 minutes is more effective for blackhead removal. Perhaps it's my thicker skin, or, perhaps i get them too moist in the beginning.

Better Than Original, and if Used Regularly
PROS *Prefer ingredients: I had to switch to the charcoal strips after seeing ingredients in original ones. I believe aluminum was one of those I wanted to avoid. *Easier to see results: Can see extracted materials better against black background. The sebum plugs are lighter color if you use strips regularly before sebum oxidizes and darkens more. CONS *Occasional failure as with original strips: Once in a while the adhesive separates from the strip and is left on face so no extraction at all on some parts. Not good when theyโre sometimes priced at $1 a strip. And Iโm as consistent as possible w how much water I use, how long I let it dry, and how I peel it off.

It's not magic, but it definately should be part of your routine.
Now please don't fall for the hype that this is the magic cure for acne and that after one application, you'll have a model face. This does what it's supposed to do: unclog your pores from debris that has been accumulating for too long. If you have a great routine for face care, you technically should not need this product, but since 99% of us are not the best at taking care of our face... you probably should use this. For me, it had been 1 year of not really being in a position to take care of myself as I did before so the damage was there and I was glad to pull out a lot of "gunk" from my pores. Afterward, please follow up with cleaning your face with a neutral face soap, don't forget to moisturize (yes I'm a guy!) and that should help you look sharp. The black charcoal to me looks like a gimmick, but it does make the "nasty stuff" show off more against a black backdrop and since the price was the same as the typical white strips.. I went for it. Also, even though they say it should only be used for your nose, I used strips on my higher cheeks and on my forehead with zero problems. It WILL leave a weird charcoal residue on your face afterward, but it cleans up very easily.

More than for your nose!! :)
I have been using this stuff for about 5 years and let me tell you this stuff has changed my skin. I do get acne time to time and especially if I stop using these or forget to exfoliate. You dont have to use it only for your nose but I personally use it on my t-zone areas. I know its probably using up alot and costs much. Just know it does work if you have more trouble areas with blackheads on the facial area!! It literally takes off the dead skin, white heads, blackheads AND tiny hairs! Lol I do use a Niacinimide serum by The Ordinary after and an ice roller and my skin always feels so smooth :) Some of the best steps I like to do when I feel like my skin is feeling 'clogged' and dull is: 1) Exfoliating (whether in the shower or not). I dont exfoliate everytime I use them but it helps. Unless you want the dead skin to come off with it too lol which does happen! :) 2) ALWAYS make sure face is squeaky clean and no oily or waxy residue are left on the skin. 3) Pat dry face with wash cloth. 4) Immediately wet areas (yes again lol) of the face where you want to place the strips. (Not too wet) 5) Place strip on area and wet fingers then pat the strip til you feel its wet but not 'soggy' on the skin. 6) Wait til you feel the strip dry up and is 'stiff' on the skin. The one mistake is leaving it on too long and the oils in the skin make the strip not stick or peel properly. You dont want to peel when its still 'flimsy' or wet. 7) SLOWLY PULL off strip(s). (I like to pull inward if used on the cheek area this usually works for me but its your preference.) 8) Wash off any residue with warm water and pat dry. These are just the steps I take and have always worked! I hope this helps! :) **WARNING if you do have very sensitive skin, I dont recommend these strips or my remedy as the strips do pull at the skin and take out tiny hairs with it!!

These strips work!
I love these!!! I splash a little water on my nose area and stick it on and let it dry for maybe 20 mins and when itโs time to come off I can also see it pulling out while I pull it off. Youโll be able to tell when the strip is ready to be taken off when it feels dry and firm. My nose looked way better afterwards! Every single dot on that strip came off of my nose.

It's very easy to use. Plus it doesn't hurt much like other strips while pulling it off.
The quality is good. The key point is prep your skin before applying the strip. Preping your skin includes face-steaming and exfoliate. Using the strip on prepped skin would be like cherry on top.
