A lot of fun. Nice price for a small transmitter ready model.
A great little motor glider that is great for flying in tight spaces like a park, but it does best on a small and gentle slope. When a very gentle breeze hits the slope head on, i get some really nice flights and don’t have to touch the throttle very often, if at all. Is it good for learning..ehh, maybe. If you do choose it as your first model i will say this, it is fragile and won’t tolerate nose in crashes or kart wheels for very long. ai would highly recommend flying over some tall grass. I always recommend buy a quality R/C simulator first. Fly all the aircraft you want until you are doing great with the basics and able to fly under full control. If you crash, just hit the reset button and you have a new model. You can also fly when it’s raining, snowing or those days when you can’t make it to the field. Overall, I really enjoy this airplane and have had many great flights with it. It has a lot of great features that are very impressive, especially when you consider the price.

Great for beginners-but read review
Well designed- got it linked up to my spectrum radio in a jiffy - just be aware it is a bit on the delicate side - however I have crashed a couple times and no damage as it is so light - I am also impressed at the flight time depending on how aggressively you fly it - Also not recommended necessarily by the manufacturer but I used 250mah batteries (as I had them already). I usually get tired of flying it before the battery does. Also I am an RC Quad flyer, this was my first plane - got it right away. Also I FPVed my plane- added 6 grams Also since this plane is delicate- I would recommend a few hours on a simulator if you or the person you are buying this for never flew before.

Cheap fun and relaxation
If you have a transmitter, all you need besides this are a few cheap little batteries and a charger to fly it. It's very easy to fly (use SAFE mode if you're new to flying) and glides very well. It's more engaging, IMO, than the larger Night Radian that I found boring. And it's easy to grab and go have a little fun with for a while. Also light enough that you don't need to register it with the FAA, etc. It's a very simple little plane, a joy to fly and can be flown like a normal plane (but is limited to loops, no rolls because no ailerons), used to slope soar or even catch thermals -- The latter very impressive for a plane this small. It has a tiny little brushed motor but that's all it needs and climbs like a champ. Simple is good. These are made my E-Flite, a brand under the Horizon Hobby umbrella, but buy it here instead. I bought a different, more expensive model direct from Horizon Hobby when it first came out, with a faulty aileron servo after one flight, and they sent me a new servo and expected me to figure out how to install it (and provide my own servo glue) on a brand new plane instead of simply sending a new wing that I could install in a couple minutes. When I asked for the latter, they didn't even bother to reply. Rude. With Amazon, you just send it back for a replacement and don't have to deal with any of that foolishness. That said, this is such a simple plane that you're unlikely to run into any defects.

Fun in calm wind and an experienced pilot
Fun little plane to fly, but skittish in the wind. (given its size, that's not surprising) It climbs very quickly and can drop just as fast, so a new flyer would probably not enjoy it nearly as much as someone who as more time on the sticks. The SAFE works great, so it is relatively stable, but just not with a breeze. I'm looking forward to many enjoyable flights with it and the need for such a small battery provides a LONG flight time if you don't run the motor the entire time. (Get to height, and glide down). Overall, it's a great buy and would recommend it! (For FrSky users, you will need a module to bind to it.)

Review from a complete noob
I'd been wanting an RC glider for years, but never got to the point of justifying the expense (to myself). This model for less than a C-note, plus a Specktrum DXS transmitter, batteries, a charger, a strap for the transmitter...all in for less than two-fifty. (My wife gave me an Amazon gift card that covered over half of it!) I was in business. Everything went together nicely out of the box...except the 1S batteries were light on velcro and I couldn't get the transmitter to bind to the plane. A trip to a craft store solved the velcro problem. A Youtube video solved the binding problem. (1. power to plane, 2. transmitter on with bind button pressed, 3. power to plane off, 4. transmitter off, 5. transmitter on, 6. plane on...voila!). Always turn on the transmitter before applying power to the plane! First flight: I went to a park down the street, tossed some grass in the air (very light breeze), and launched the plane into the wind. I was able to fly the plane to altitude, turn off power to the prop and let it glide down to a landing within a few feet of myself. I even caught a few small thermals. On grass, it made a gentle landing. I did that a few more times until the battery was depleted (according to the gauge on the transmitter). I was very happy! Second flight: My wife went with me to the park to take pictures. I had a similar experience to the first flight...but a couple of launches in I ended up flying into a tree! That required a trip back home to get a 12' pole with a pool net attached to push it out of the tree. A couple of launches later, my wife suggested I fly the plane away from a small group of spectators with a dog that was frantically barking at my plane. In the process of doing that, I got the plane up above the tree line (having learned that tree's are bad), and a stronger wind caught it. The plane began drifting away from the park, I couldn't bring it down (I think I was making it go higher instead of lower). I lost sight of the plane for a second (behind those darned tree's!) and it was gone. :( That was when I told my wife that "I meant to put my name and phone number on it." That was when she realized (again) that she had married an idiot. But...I liked the who experience so much that I'm buying a replacement Radian UMX. A few months down the road I'm already looking at the Conscendo model!

This airplane doesn't come with a remote control. I order one from Amazon which was not compatible with the airplane. Manufacturer asked buy Spektrum which is not available in India. I ordered one from Dessertcart and found it as prohibited item in India. Can someone help me in buying the remote control to fly this airplane?

Size, wingspan. In photos looks similar to Radian 1 or 2. In practise its about 1/2 size and I find the presentation misleading.
