These are great! Bought them to wear while cutting down a thistle bush that has poison ivy growing around it. These were perfect. I combined these with cut proof gloves to cover my whole arm and hands. They worked great. The velcro band at the top allowed for easy adjustments so the sleeves did not slide down the arms while working. Would buy again.

In an effort to protect my arms before my carpal tunnel surgery, I got these sleeves to do work around the house. While working on taking apart the makeshift chicken coop from previous owners, I was very happy with the protection. There were numerous screws and some pointed ends protruding. I ran my arm across one and felt nothing but a tug on the sleeve. The problem I had was the Velcro strap for my upper arm. I have a bigger upper arm than some and there wasn't enough of a strap to make a secure attachment. If my arms flexed at all the Velcro popped off. I was able to use them without the strap secured, but it sticking out became annoying. I will be cutting off the extended strap and see how well the elasticity of the sleeve. Overall, I'm happy with the sleeve to keep my arms safe.
