Building on KRK's legacy of sonic accuracy and performance, the new KRK CLASSIC 7 powered studio monitors incorporate over 30 years of innovation from the world's leading studio monitor manufacturer. Borrowing concepts from previous ROKIT lines—some of the most used studio monitors in the world, the CLASSIC 7 defaults to a new flat frequency solution towards more critical listening—translating into more accurate mixes. With the optional ability to engage the +2 dB KRK Bass Boost, the CLASSIC 7 can also provide the enhanced bass response and sound that music creators around the world have loved for years. The CLASSIC 7 is an active (self-powered) two-way studio monitor that utilizes a 1" textile soft dome tweeter paired with a 7" glass aramid woofer. The built-in power amplifiers provide a total of 73 watts of power, with a 48 watt amp driving the woofer, and a 25 watt amp for the tweeter.

Review: Can't go wrong with KRK - Beyond happy with my purchase. Everything KRK touches is quality, even their lower tier cost friendly Kreate series are amazing for the price. I currently have a 5" kreate (For crystal clear hi's and mid's) paired with the 7" classic (tight, full and deep bass with zero distortion) I keep my monitor dialed waaaay down as I live in a muti-family home, but when I do want to "bump it"; this thing gets LOUD. This model is only compatible via XLR/RCA input and does not support bluetooth. (Imho: If you're buying KRK, you should be using balanced professional audio XLR cables regardless to avoid latency issues if you're a DJ)

They get very loud, almost too loud for a small room, but not at the cost of any distortion. I'd say the most promenant feature is the bass, or "low frequency range" according to the nerds. Its punchy, humongous, clear, and exciting. These speakers have a noticably bass-heavy sound to them. The combonation of KRKs front-ported design and the larger woofer makes for a clean and smooth low-end that punches and rattles through the listeners chest (and desk!) If you are an audiophile, these may not be your favorite monitors. If you are a producer of hip hop, trap, dnb, etc. these may be your favorite monitors. The KRK classic 7s are the budget hero of the studio monitor world.

We had some older 6 classics I like how they sound and got me some good bass good highs and good quality perfect for listening to music making beats and watching YouTube
