Review: True to size, stable, and well-made - After buying terrible roller blades I decided to get some skates instead. I’m not necessarily a beginner, as I used to skate when I was younger, but I’m finding myself having to re-learn to skate. I wear a US women’s size 9 shoe, I ordered a size 9 and it’s a perfect fit! As others have said, the bearings were way too tight upon arrival, but they’re very easy to loosen/tighten (I used a 1/2in socket wrench). The wheels are smooth and the skates are stable and comfortable. Really the only gripe I have is that the brakes are made of plastic and not rubber. You’ll probably want to get some outdoor wheels for these if you plan to skate outside. The stock wheels are completely smooth plastic. They work just fine inside! I’d recommend these to beginners and seasoned skaters alike. Super cute and a great price too. So happy I purchased these!
