The cable feels and looks really high quality. The reason I went with this cable was I wanted a dp cable with the smallest possible connector because of limited space to plug it in for my application. When I got it I was happy because the connector was about half the length of my old one and made connecting it much easier. If you are looking for something like that then this cable is the one you need. The packaging reflects a high quality product. It works like it should. The VESA certification is actually important to insure there is no issue or damage to pc components or the monitor. Sometimes cheaper cable will have a link between both sides of the cable that shouldn’t be connected potentially damaging the display or components. I recently bought a second cable from this same brand because I was impressed with this one. Some people think a cable is a cable but that is not entirely true. If you are looking for good quality at a decent price I would recommend this cable.

Pin 20 is disconnected - I tested each one personally with a DMM. If you're looking for a DP cable, you can stop searching - this is the one. Reasons for: - Disconnected pin 20 - You're like me and don't like the latch that is common on DP cables (makes them really hard to disconnect) - Shortest connector I've seen, allowing the cable to bend sooner without placing stress on the DP port - Braided cable and metal connector - One of the cheapest options (at the time of writing) with no apparent downsides (better than my more expensive cables) Reasons against: - You like to live dangerously and enjoy the idea potentially damaging your old graphics card with a cable with connected pin 20 - You want a connector that could compete with Long Long Man (why?) or you like the latch - You want to spend more money (why??) I bought two - one of them had an issue and contacting support for a replacement was quick and painless. So here's another reason for: excellent support.

I finished putting together a new case and installed my Windows PC in a different location. The cable I had used previously (the one that came with the monitor) was about three inches too short. I decided to future proof myself a bit and got this ten foot one, so I would not have to upgrade the cable anytime soon, even if I upgraded my video card/monitor. It seems to be built very well, included three clever little cable clips (that I've already repurposed elsewhere), and was a snap to install. Actually, I take that back - there wasn't really *any* snap/lock, which made me worried that it wouldn't stay in place. However, it's a nice tight fit, and I haven't had any problems with it getting loose on either end of the connection. I am running 1080p at 144hz, and it's handled that resolution/refresh rate like a champ. I will definitely put Maxonar at the top of my list if I need another DP/HDMI cable down the road.

The cable is great and very high quality, but as other reviewers are mentioning, does not have the typical DisplayPort cable fixating pins. Therefore in certain use cases (like vertically aligned DP input ports on monitors), the cable might have a tendency to fall out by itself.

I was worried that it might only achieve 120hz over 5m, with 4K resolution. But I can confirm it works. Cable is thick and sturdy and so far no issues with station connected.

Sin duda no es barato pero quien busca este tipo de artículos lo sabe, al final el que no te de problemas no tiene precio.

Unable to use these cables, constant flickering at 1440p, 120/144 & 165hz with the ROG27Q monitor via KVM - likely work via direct connection and just unsuitable for KVM use.
