Make-A-Fort Building Kit - Giant Indoor Fort Builder for Kids

My grandchildren opened this and were so excited and they play with it daily. They can remake it into different types of forts and so they are never bored

It is very popular in our home. The kids love it and I think it spurs their imaginations to design and build it. I was a bit disappointed that it was just cardboard. I kind of thought it would be that sturdier plastic—like material, but it is just like a sturdy cardboard. Still great though. A little spendy for cardboard, but convenient and great to have.

I bought this for my goddaughter and she absolutely loves it! It’s such a great kit because it allows kids to be creative in two ways: first, they get to build a great fort, and then they can spend hours coloring it to truly make it their own. It is sturdy and keeps her entertained for a long time. Highly recommend for any child who loves building and art!

Very nicely made, heavy cardboard, have color notches so you know where to put the attachments. Easy for any age to put together. Can build any size or shape of fort.

I was expecting something a bit more durable. I think because the main photo shows a not corrugated cardboard. The connection point in the cardboard are already starting to deform after 2 builds. It is heavier cardboard about the same as the water heater box that I just retired. But it is corrugated so if it crushed or creased it loses it structural integrity. And rest assured your kids will step on it, smash the corners and crease it. I’m hoping but not expecting it survives as long (3 years) as the water heater box. The big plus I see is the it can be disassembled and stored much more easily. 1 year later So it been a year and as expected the card board has taken a betting. The kid still love it. But prepare for tragedy when one of them accidentally knocks it over. Dispute all this I'm still considering get a nother set. I probably would have already oderd if it was still $80.

What kid does not love making forts with boxes? My kids have created countless different forts with these. It is a little costly for pieces of cardboard and while you can get away with one kit, you will need atleast 2 kits to make a decent sized fort that kids approved. The cardboard is sturdier than a typical box and stores away easily and without taking up too much space. It’s easy to setup and my 4 year old had no problems doing it herself. Overall I think this is a genius way to make a cardboard fort and I wish I had them around when I was a kid!

Not sure how to brag about this outside of saying the grandkids love it! The ability to do forts, trails, or just a wall/border to play with toys all alone is creating smiles - what else do you want? Took a time or two to figure out supports for some odd shaped stuff but now whatever we want goes up in < 10 mins so, even when the kids change their mind on the shap they want half way through. :) One more simple thing, the nature of the flat pices makes it easy & fast for even 1.5 year olds to help put away - so the big fort collapses down into an easy to store box quickly.

This is great for kids. My 5 year old can easily assemble the fort with only a little assistance hear and there. The only downfall that I have as a parent is that I wish that the cardboard pieces would have been a little thicker for the price. I know some of the reviews have said it was thick cardboard but I would say it’s just regular ol’ cardboard pieces. It’s still unique and fun for the kids and I would highly recommend.

Couldn’t believe such a thin box could bring you a big castle! A lot of fun playing with my 6 year old son, he likes to change the shapes every time we build it, will just take a small space under your coach to keep your castle back into the box. Recommend.

My children love the versatility and enjoy the endless opportunities to be creative when building tunnels, forts, and barriers! They are easy to use and create with. For the cost, I do wish the material was sturdier than they are. I do fear their durability will not last long. Though, as parents, we can use this opportunity as a teachable moment: how to be gentle, precise, and accurate when constructing!
