Brita On Tap Faucet Water Filter System Replacement Filters, Chrome, 1 Count

I’ve had a Britta filter on my kitchen faucet for over a year. It makes the coffee taste so much better as well as other foods and beverages. I’ve only had to replace the filter once and that time. I believe it’s getting close to being replaced again. But I do notice a huge difference when I have the filtration system as to when the filter needs to be changed.

Okay, so I was not sure when I ordered this if it would fit. It did. It is a great buy for the price I paid. I did a lot of looking around the internet and on the Amazon and Ebay sites. I was not particular about whether it was white or chrome. They all work the same and for a few bucks less I would take whatever color is cheapest. I will continue to purchase from this seller if it remains available, these filters are almost ridiculously twice the price elsewere. If you need to replace your Brita, don't hesitate, just buy it.

This Replacement Filter takes less than 2 minutes to install, first remove the old filter with the release button on the Brita Housing, and then install this new Filter that fits perfectly.

we're all doomed anyway with all the crud in the water ( i live in WNY near a 1940s toxic waste/biohazard/radioactive landfill, in a trailer park with a major water supply line problem and leaky pipes all over under ground, in a city where the plumbing infrastructure is the worst in the entire USA!) but hey, why speed up death???? we'll all reach the end in time anyway. anyway, i like to think it's helping "save me" or at least delay the inevitable. it's a Great Placebo

Just bought one of these Sept 29th, installed on October 2nd, so what happens today October 24th? A spraying leak along a seam line along the bottom of the filter (along the right side of chrome casing about 1/4" from the line where the chrome and black plastic filter casing come together). I have been happy with these until now... Can't return it after using it, and I don't want to buy a whole new filter system so I bought a replacement. Hoping this was a fluke, may get more stars if the replacement works out. 11/2/13 - operating with a new filter cartridge, so far, so good...increasing rating from 1 to 3 stars. Hopefully the bad cartridge was an anomaly. 11/20/13 - added 1 more star to 4, so far, so good. No leaking.
