Worth the money
I thought this would be big and heavy when the delivery guy was dropping it off. Its was like handing me a box of milk, so light. After opening the box, everything was a breeze. I didn't charge it right away. I did a test and this vac pass. Easy to use on stairs and pick up hair I couldn't see. My wrist didn't hurt. Like the handle design. I don't have to push, the suction does the work. I just have to guide it. The battery is built in so that should tell you that this is a keeper. If you buy a vac with removable battery or changing or switching, then it wasn't built to last. That's alot of time wasted for just switching. This goes flat to the floor and is easy to install on the wall. Make sure to listen for the "click" especially on the dust canister/cup. Inside the cup, there is a rubber flap that keeps debris from clogging the suction power. My first jashen cordless vac was a disappointment. The tub broke off from the main body. The digital reader stop showing the battery status. And with all those accessories, my hands would hurt with all those switches. It took some time but I found Eureka. I spent far less and got a great cordless vaccum.

It's...Good, maybe Great?
So...I gotta admit, that I'm a tad disappointed. Don't get me wrong..this guy works. It picks up what I Need, it's sort of light weight, and once you get a hang of all the snapping pieces and buttons to remove X and put on Y...it a cinch to use. I guess I was caught up in the hype of this thing being a lifechanger and after hearing so many say that they will never choose anything else but a Dyson, I was hoping the Eureka Stylus would be something akin to that love. It...looks really sleek, the design is without a doubt beautiful. The headlights are probably un-needed but they add to the aesthetic. I don't really have a reason as to why I'm not over the moon with it, in that I don't know what I was expecting, but..yea it's a good vaacum. It's a slow re-charge I"ll say that much. It takes like 4 hours to fully charge back up. and storing it is a pain. It has not 'resting' position that locks it from moving. If you lean it against a wall, it's going to be horizontal in seconds. you need the wall mount that comes with it..of dangle it from an overhang counter if you have. It does well on carpet and hardwood, but again...it picks things up..but i was just expecting the carpets to really get a nice fluffing or something at the same time...? Unrealistic but not sure if I'd be so eager to grab this again if I'd do it again. I'm definitely keeping it, and I do enjoy it, but just...manage your expectations.

Great for the money
This is an affordable and effective vacuum cleaner. I really like the ease of use, both attaching and removing additional implements. It's obviously not as strong as my corded vacuum but it's so nice not having to work around a cord, unplugging and re-plugging in every room. I use this vacuum EVERY day and have had no negative issues with it. Prior to purchasing, I read a lot of the other reviews and the one that got my attention was the unavailability of a second battery. Therefore prior to purchasing I did a bit of research and was able to find an aftermarket battery...which surprisingly seems to hold a charge a bit longer that the original one. The aftermarket battery is part # 17475000018253 which can be purchase from ENCOMPASS SUPPLY CHAIN SOLUTIONS for $86.36 plus tax and shipping. I also purchase this unit because it can be wall mounted for out of the way storage. The ONLY negative issue is that the battery must be attached to the vacuum to be charged. It would be nice to have a separate charging unit so the extra battery can be charged while using the vacuum. I mostly use the vacuum on "high" and "carpet" setting. The battery usually lasts about 20 minutes in this mode.

Only useful for verrrry light cleaning.
I can't recommend this vacuum for anyone doing anything more than the lightest cleaning. Do not get this if you have pets (or people) that shed. Do not get this expecting to vacuum a whole house in one go. I would put the limit for one charge at a mid-sized carpeted room. If either of these apply to you, look at something else. The 45-minute advertised run time must be based on the lowest suction level and no attachments. Fair enough, but the light suction level is not enough to pick up almost anything (and I mean it barely picks up dog hair), you really need the high suction power to be useful (and this level actually does work fine). The problem is that this doesn't just cut the runtime in half, it cuts it to about a fifth, less than 10 minutes for me. Add the head attachment with the rolling thing, and it's more like 5 minutes - about enough time to do a single room. And concerning the head attachment, it stops functioning with a modest amount of hair / dog fur stuck on the bristles - I need to pick it out pretty much every time I use it (to be fair, I do have two sheddy dogs). The bagless canister is tiny and gets stuff stuck above the barrier which means you need to take it apart most of the time you use it to actually get everything out. Edit: After a year of light occasional use (~15 times total) the batteries are failing and it doesn't even charge up near the full level. Do not get this.

Fragile components and not enough important information on charging instructions and tips.
Definitely does NOT last 45 minutes of use before having to recharge. And low setting is useless. Needs to be set on high for the best suction. And I'm not talking about a whole house. One bedroom apartment. Lasts a out 8 minutes on high so I have to vacuum on high and put myself into speedy Gonzales mode or else have to charge AGAIN to complete the job. After two years of light use, once a week, battery is not charging whatsoever. Last time I used it it lasted 8 minutes like usual. Put it to charge and when I went to turn it on the following week just got blinking light and motor does absolutely nothing. Would of been nice to have read somewhere in the manual not to use every time until the battery dies. After doing research it's suggested to allow vacuum to cool down before charging and stop using when battery starts dying out. Besides that it's lightweight, easy to empty the dust cup, and Led lights help out enough. ** One more major flaw, two attachments that are included are made VERY fragile and the clip points both broke off 2 months after this purchase and 3 or 4 times of using these attachments. Should have a warning sticker letting customers know to handle attachments as you would throwing an egg around. Super fragile for something brand name and close to $200. But they do have a big section with the replacements making sure you spend more money, kind of like knowing it's inevitable the pieces will abruptly break off and making sure you know where and how to replace. Think I'll go with a Chinese brand and stronger motor next time for a good %tage less than what I paid for this delicate brand name vacuum. Unfortunately lost faith in eureka after this.

Battery life very short, and non replaceable
Battery ran a very short time before dying, battery failed after 8 months and cannot be removed/replaced !! Will never buy one that doesn't have a removable battery again !! Bought a Bissel with extra battery pack that is more powerful and battery lasts much longer !! (Batteries can be bought for it separately) Hope this saves money for people looking for a dependable cordless vacuum !!

Vacuums well but has many issues
I really want to give this vacuum a higher rating, but I've run into several issues with it that have made me regret my purchase. The initial one that was sent did not charge properly and the battery never made it over 30% capacity. I received a new one and the battery worked better, however it's still never charges more than about 75%. The motorized attachment for floors works great to pick up pet hair and stuff, however it is extremely loud and the noise is amplified a lot when used on non-carpeted floors. Like, the attachment is literally louder than the vacuum itself. The overall suction power and effectiveness is great for the price, as I have used several different Dyson models all with similar efficiency that cost at least twice as much. The process of emptying the container can be extremely messy and hair tends to clog up everything being vacuumed into one spot in the canister. This leads to one having to either reach in and pull out the dirt manually or shake or bang the canister against the side of the trash until it comes out. I've spilled the entire contents of the vacuum onto the floor several times while attempting that second option. On that note, the canister is also far smaller than similar powered models from other manufacturers. Cleaning the vacuum itself is pretty easy. The parts go together pretty clearly and the filter does not need to be cleaned very often. That being said, the vacuum does not include any instructions on how to clean it. So if this is something somebody is unfamiliar with I could easily see them either breaking it or being unable to put it back together after attempting to clean it. Overall, quite a disappointment from amazon. You'd probably be better off the shark or a Dyson, just buy it refurbished or on sale or something

All good!
We live in the country in the upper Midwest, we have pets, we like gardening and just generally spend a lot of time outdoors. So all of that adds up to tracking a lot of dirt in to the house even if we take our shoes off at the door. And naturally it follows that we also do a lot of sweeping of the hallway, kitchen, and stairs several times a day in order to pick up the dirt, pet hair, and general grit to protect our hardwood floors. So we bought this cordless stick vacuum to replace the sweeping and to make the chore quicker and easier. And I have to say that this vacuum has done the trick. A quick "sweep" of the entry area and connected kitchen takes just minutes, while a more extensive cleaning of all of the hardwood floored areas can take up to 30 minutes. This little vac easily lasts long enough to do everything and does a great job of de-gritting the floors and collecting pet hair. One big advantage I've noticed since buying this is that the number of pet hair "tumble weeds" is way down. This vac apparently collects enough of the fur so that none is left over to be blown under furniture or in inaccessible corners. It also makes the floor feel smooth instead of the normal grittiness we used to get by afternoon. I also like the built in light which reveals areas which haven't been vacuumed yet, the quick snap out and snap in of the debris cup which makes cleaning a one handed operation, and the general lightness and maneuverability which makes it easy to use and efficient. Note that we do not use this vac on carpet, just tile and hardwood floor, so I can't comment on how well it may or may not work on it. All in all I really like this vacuum and am considering the purchase of another for another home.
