I bought two different kinds to see the difference. The Vulken brand was $30, so I wanted to see if it was relatively close in quality to this one which is three times more expensive. It turns out massaging units seem to be one of those things that you get what you pay for. I get constant knots in my back that need quite a bit of pressure. I used to use a tennis ball. What I do is set it on the ground and then roll my back over it along the muscle that is knotted up. The tennis ball works okay but when I saw that they make ones that vibrate as well I wanted to give them a try. So when I got both of them I did the same thing I always do which is to put it on the ground and roll my back over it. The cheap one couldn't handle the pressure. I had it on the highest setting and it dropped to the point where it was just barely vibrating. I am pretty sure that if I did it for any longer it would have broken. Then I tried this one, the Therabody Wave, and it didn't falter at all. Even on the lowest setting and with the full weight of my torso on it (and I'm a big fat guy), it didn't even slow down at all. It was like nothing was on it. I was amazed! I've used it now several times a week on different knots and it loosens them up and relieves my pain within just a few minutes of using it. I absolutely love this thing! It's worth every penny!

Ive been flat-footed ever since i was a kid, but ive been ignoring the issue for years. I work in construction, so im on my feet all day. Only recently have I chosen to wear shoe inserts to support my fallen arches and keep my legs in the proper posture. Its helps a lot, but i still had this nagging foot/leg pain and soreness from years of neglect. This thing has literally taken away my foot & leg pain. It has 3 vibration strength settings. I always turn it up to max power to really feel the massage effect. It’s also very durable, so i can really step as hard as I need to really dig into my plantar fasciitis muscle tissue where i feel pain the most. For me it was COMPLETELY worth the money, because i really only used this thing for 1 good massage session and my pain is gone! Portability is a plus too, so if I ever feel like getting a quick pleasurable foot massage, I just pull it out anytime, anywhere. Like i said, it’s not perfect. There’s a small flat spot where the power button and USB-c charge port is. So sometimes you’ll roll it on the flat spot and have to reposition it. I can see that being very annoying for some people, but it doesn’t bother me. My feet and legs are forever changed and I LOVE this thing! 100% worth the money for me!

I finally pushed the button & ordered the Duo Wave a couple of days ago. Some reviews say that the vibration levels are too strong, while others report the vibration levels aren’t strong enough. After using this for a coil of days I experienced very strong vibration on all 5 levels. I wonder whether the difference in vibration experience is caused by body weight, with lighter weight people feeling stronger vibration, while heavier people experience less. For reference, I’m 115 pounds. But I really don’t know whether weight is a factor… I tried rolling with the Duo Wave, but found rolling to be more trouble than it was worth. I find traditional foam rollers to be easier to use. I was thinking about returning it when I thought of simply placing the Duo Wave on a particular area for a minute or two. Game changer! So I sat on the couch and placed the unit on my traps & just let it sit there for a minute. So incredibly relaxing! Then, using cushions on the couch, I so I upped the vibration level and placed the unit between my shoulder blades ( I live alone & can never get my Theragun to reach that area). Again, incredibly relaxing! I have thin arms (which can’t stand Theragun treatments), so I put the unit on my forearm & slowly moved it up and down. Same relaxing reaction. The vibration traveled up & down my arm. In my opinion, the Duo Wave won’t replace my Theragun (or foam roller) as recovery tools. It complements them. It’s just so damn comforting & relaxing, it’s worth the money & my time using it the way I describe. Hope this helps!

As a massage therapist, this is one of the best gifts I bought myself this year! Been eyeing this one out for a while now... when something feels a little off with me, I just roll the ball to the problem area on my back or hips and sometimes things kind of vibrate back in place, like a spinal adjustment. It also has capability of a 150m or 120m runtime so i read, but I always use the highest setting, so maybe its more like 100m, but I don't keep track. The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5, I feel there's a lot of potential to transform this ball with higher vibration settings

For over 20 years ive suffered from lower back pain. For at least a decade of those years ive used a foam roller, but could never quite hit spots a chiropractor could. This thing levels that playing ground now. My main issue is tight hip flexors, IT bands, and hamstrings.. ultimately leading to major back pain. Now that I have the ability to dig deep into the center of my groin area and deep into my hips.. Total game changer. Ive been using for about 3 days now and it's the perfect wake up and before bed roller. You can get pretty deep and dirty Or, super chill and just really sitting on the spot that's tight/irritated and set the vibration setting to ultra low. A great way to work out an inflamed area without going too far (something i'd often do with a normal foam roller. A spot I couldnt get to, and just end up rolling way too much.) The high setting is pretty intense. As other reviews said it's pretty noisy. Rattles the picture frames on my walls haha.. well worth it though to have rattly pictures for 15 minutes, compared to feeling loose and relieved all day. A little pricey but if you have the dough just buy it. Boothtooth compatible as well which I found to be very helpful.. Taking a hand off the ground trying to find the buttons on the side of the roller and trying to not get vibrated off.. quickly tapping my cell phone to change up the speed is actually quite nice. Booshie but very nice.

I suffered a disc herniation several months ago and was in the market for a roller that had vibration, variety, and a solid build. When I came across this product, I knew the brand because of the Theragun and decided to give it a shot figuring that even though it was expensive, I like having peace of mind. I was definitely right! The roller is incredibly well made the outside material feels like a tire, making the roller sturdy. You can tell that this thing will last for years. Another big win for me is as prior reviews noted an application for your phone. In my opinion, the application which comes along with the roller is a game changer as it gives you different activities and times it out for you meaning I don't have to do a thing just put on the app which is super useful. You can even customize transition times. The specific routine can either be warm up, recovery, and other custom options which make the experience really nice! After using for about a month, I'm finding a lot about this product I like. I also feel a lot looser and finding reasons to use the roller more often. Definitely a buy!

It works okay and does the job for basic muscle rolling, but it’s not perfect. The surface is a bit slippery, especially when using it on the floor, which can make it harder to stay in place. Maximum power isn't as strong as I hoped. I also noticed that when I used it on my yoga mat, some residue from the mat started rubbing off onto the roller. Not sure if my mat is just old or if the material of the roller doesn’t work well with yoga mats, but it was noticeable.

I AM 89 AND HAVE MY SHARE OF ACHES AND PAINS.I LOOKED AT THIS MASSAGER FOR A WHILE , IT WAS KIND OF PRICEY FOR ME, BUT LOOKED LIKE IT MIGHT HELP AREAS LIKE MY NECK,CALVES, ARMS ETC. I AM HAPPY WITH IT AND IT HAS ABOUT 5 SPEEDS AND IS SIMPLE TO USE, REALLY HELPED MY TIGHT CALVES.

Responde a lo q se pide, es muy cómodo, fácil de utilizar, vibración bastante alta. Se puede utilizar fuera de casa sin problema.

I just sit on it and moved for a minute. Very disappointing.
