What is the ball shank opening (not the receiver hitch 2x2)? Will any size threaded ball shank fit in?

I have not disassembled this unit to measure it, But this is a 3/4 Thread and a 2 5/8 ball is a one inch thread, There is usually an adapter ring inside so you can use the bar with both ball sizes. Joe S
