Utawarerumono: Mask of Truth

Melhor visual novel que já tive o prazer de jogar. Acho que não irei experienciar algo nesse nível tão cedo, virou meu jogo favorito.

Great game, fun, love it. Good story

I typically don't write reviews, but I felt that this series deserved it. Utawarerumono Mask of Truth is the immediate sequel to Utawarerumono Mask of Deception, so think of it like an anime series season 2. When I first started it I thought it would be exactly the same as the first game, but they actually improved it with new battle mechanics and character tutorials so that you learn how to properly use each character to their full potential. More characters are also added to your small army of playable characters and loads of story to wrap up such an epic series. Other notable additions that weren't in the first game include final attack combinations, hidden criticals(which I sucked at activating) and some other interesting things that may be considered spoilers so I'll leave them out. If you happen to be reading this and haven't played mask of deception then I really suggest you rewind a bit and check it out. At the time of this review both games are roughly 30 dollars, so 60 dollars for both. I'd recommend getting both because after beating the first game I believe you'll be dying to play Mask of Truth. Lastly, this game has more romance than the previous game, not a lot so where it feels somewhat embarrassing, but a subtle amount that adds good feeling to an epic story about war, betrayal and sacrifice.P.S. My copy came in the limited edition form which included a pillow case of the twins.

Fun game, great story. Was not packaged with care, item arrived smashed. This is the 2nd time in two weeks I got damaged items from Amazon's fulfillment center.
