I see someone said they’re a 38 waist and wear a medium comfortably but chart says medium for 32. I’m 32”. What size should I get?

The large is a true 36-38, that said I would say the med. As the chart says 32-34

They do have stretch, but the keep you supported and in place, i was just about to order a few more packs and get rid of all of my other underwear.
