Bulk Pea Protein Isolate Powder, Vanilla, 500g | Vegan Protein Shake

Great value got money! I bought this after looking for a vegan protein powder that was decent and this is it. The flavour is decent (vanilla) and mixes well into oats and yoghurt. Ive had it even with water as a shake and it was fine, mixes well and is smooth. Of course it's not mind blowingly delicious, it's protein powder! But it's really decent and I will be purchasing again for it's effectiveness and value for money.

So I was excited to give this a try, as it was reasonably priced (about the same as 2kg of my usual Whey protein) and I'm lactose intolerant.It tastes like unflavoured pea protein/ saw dust/ the little bits of cardboard you get stuck in your teeth when you open a parcel with your mouth.Disappointed is an understatement; I think someone thought 'Vanilla' stood for 'unflavoured', as there's nothing that has flavour in it. The other kicker is that it comes with added sweeteners! So it's supposed to be sweet but somehow isn't. Added crud in your system without any of the flavour.I can't see any use for this that is pleasant to consume; as a drink it's pretty disgusting and I don't think it would get better if you used it as an ingredient in anything else.

Okay the value for money is amazing protein is good ,but its far far far to sweet ,everything is good in it apart and it's a massive apart from the added sweetener add stevia extract is a massive failure for me from bulk foods it doesn't need to be in it ,I have put it in the bin £26 in the bindisappointing,,,but if people like sweet stuff it's good for you ,it's not for me tho 🥺

Not a bat protein powder. Yes a lot of people complain that it clumps, but that only happened to me twice and that was my fault. In all fairness the taste comparing to other protein powders is not the most impressive, it is after all low calorie and its form peas, however the flavour is still OK. I mean it's not rancid, I mix mine with water and banana in a blender, and it does the job, you can if you want for extra protein and flavour add some peanut butter, be creative.All in all, great value for money, quality is good, so it's the vanilla flavour, nothing to complain about. Good job Bulk, keep going strong.

I found this protein to be really good. As someone who cannot tolerate whey protein and is allergic to pea protein, I was looking for a cost effective alternative for protein source.This is a really good source, the flavour I got is a bit earthy I won’t lie, however I can flavour the protein with other means and it tastes absolutely fine.In terms of mixability, it is a bit dense (a bit like when you use other vegan proteins) so you have to work with it but it does mix in with patience and persistence.

Taste is not good but not bad, have a strong smell to nuts or something similar. Blends super easy in my drinks

tried this in porrige and it was horrible, so chalky and just coated my mouth with a terrible texture. Vanilla flavour is fine and I like the ingredients but just couldn’t bear to eat.

I regularly buy either vanilla, banana or unflavoured. Taste good be better but I'd advise everyone to look at ingredients list and compare with other protein powders. This powder has only 2, stevia and pea protein. Others, many unnecessary harmful stuff like stabilisers and sugar.

Also geschmacklich ist es, wie in den meisten Rezensionen beschrieben, eine Katastrophe. Aber man kriegt es runter und da tierisches Proteinpulver genauso bezahlbar ist, wie die aktuellen Spritpreise, bleiben einem nicht groß Alternativen. Das hier ist preislich unschlagbar.

Malgré les commentaires négatif je ne suis vraiment pas déçue. Je l'ai testé dans le café, dans un cake et dans un yaourt végétal, le goût est bon et ça ne fait pas de grumeaux contrairement à toute les whey à base de lactosérum que j'ai pu tester. Ces whey avaient également tendance à assécher mes gâteaux. Avec cette protéine bulk il faut bien doser pour éviter que ça soit pâteux mais je n'ai rien à redire. J'en ai même profité pour en racheter 😊C'est donc en fonction des goûts de chacun, celle-ci est à mon goût avec un prix vraiment abordable 😊
