If you own any form of 8th gen civics, then you already know about the weather strip plague that effects the A pillar. While having it missing doesn't negatively effect waterproofing, it does impact sound deadening and intrusion of liquids you may not want to be stuck in crevices. And lastly, it looks bum ugly without it. I don't know why Honda decided to make this piece a long piece (from rear window to front) but to replace it, while cheap from Honda, the shipping isn't. So what's the solution? custom weather strip it. I've gone through several different types of weather strippings and this the D shape and the trunk lid (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09TSWB4T1?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1) are the ones that seems to work the best in terms of fitment. In the picture of my car, I'm using the D shape and you can tell it works pretty well. Only time will tell how well the adhesives hold, but with how cheap this is, AND, the other one I ordered, replacing it is better than buying a whole new set from Honda.

To me this product was OK, the groove was not as deep as I would’ve liked. We’ll wait and see how it turns out

If you want a permanent adhesion that won’t fail make sure you clean the surface with alcohol and then prime with 3M 94 primer!

Bought this door trim for my 2008 Audi A4 quattro 2.0 T S line model. And said it fit my vehicle. This door trim is super thin and small compared to the one I have on my doors already.
