We bought this set for my 5 year old. She’s been loving everything “camping Lego” and it was a perfect cute set for her. It’s not large set, but it’s great for the beginners. Her older sister was helping her build it since it was her first set, but she was mostly able to do it herself.

THIS IS a great set! My 4 year old daughter with a little help from me was abl to put it together. She had fun with it and these pieces are an easy level of assembling. we love lego. we like the camp site one since we are in love with camping. all around this was good for us.

So cute! Legos are the best! Age appropriate. Really cute and fun for them to play with.

Excellent set with some very necessary pieces for my ever growing collection of genuine Lego.

LEGO Friends 41677 "Forest Waterfall" (93+ pieces, ages 5+). This is a small set that's fairly quick & easy to assemble (2 bags of bricks & 3 loose plates). No decals; the wood stump graphics are printed on. The full-color instructions are easy to follow, but, I don't like that the new pieces added in each step aren't shown/numbered above each illustration. This is a nice little woodland diorama. Three small pine trees and some flowers ring the waterfall rock formation, a wooden bridge runs across the stream, and a campfire, with 2 stools, lies to the left. There's even a gem hidden behind the cascading water for the girls to discover (pretty sure that silly squirrel will mistake it for food and steal it though!) You get 2 jointed mini figures, Andrea & Olivia. It's refreshing to see only non-Caucasian dolls in a set for a change (instead of the opposite). That said, I wish that LEGO had more character variety in this line; I get tired of the same 5 Friends girls used over-and-over again in almost every kit. There's also a pair of binoculars, coffee mug, marshmallow on a stick, and a scooter (with rolling wheels and pivoting handlebars) accessories for the gals to use. And, of course, the adorable squirrel gets a pinecone to gnaw on. It's a nice outdoors set with a fair amount of play value. This normally retails for $10, but, Amazon was briefly selling it for $7, when it first came out, earlier this year, so, that's what I paid. I give it 4/5 toasted marshmallows.

I loved LEGO as a kid and now that my daughter is old enough, she is really into LEGO as well. The new LEGO Friends is a great theme and the sets are really good. This was the first set she got. The build and playability of this set is great, so we have made this our standard go-to for birthday gifts for other friends. The price point is just right, too, actually. What makes this one good is the scooter, gems, and squirrel. I think we've gifted this set three times now already. We of course have other sets in the Friend serious, but this one is still the favorite!
