Great Batteries
Works great and lasts longer than I expected. Fast charge time too. Overall very impressive for a third party battery.

Well worth the risk
Fall of 2016, I purchased a Nikon D500. I knew that the D500 would not allow third party batteries. I also knew that in a short time that the third party companies would crack the code to allow them to sell batteries for the Nikon D500. For Christmas, I was given a present of a Kastar EN-El15 which was supposed to work in my D500. It does work in the camera body only and will not work in my Pixel battery grip and the charge runs out in only a couple hundred shots. I still own a Nikon D600 and five years ago, I purchased Wasabi EN-EL15 batteries for that camera and those batteries are still working great to this day. I tried them in my D500 and they would not work. I waited a couple of months and then contacted Blue Nook (Wasabi) and they informed my that they now have a new version of the EN-EL15 that will work with the D500. I purchased two batteries and they work perfectly. They even work in my Pixel Pro Battery grip. For batteries that work just as good as the OEM Nikon batteries and at 1/3 the price, you cannot afford to not try them out. Just make sure that Blue Nook knows on your purchase order that you are purchasing for a D500, to make sure you get the "new version" and not the "old version". The old version works great on all other Nikons. Just not the D500.

... in the past for my Nikon D5100 DSLR with great results. When one of my D750 batteries died ...
2018-06-12 Update - Just over a year after purchase one of the batteries has died. I get the flashing light on my charger after a few seconds. I don't get that with any other batteries including the second battery from this pack. The batteries have performed well. I have shot star timelapses with 300+ photos, 20 second exposure with image review turned off on a single battery and still had juice left. As alluded to above the second battery is still going strong. ---- Have purchased Wasabi batteries in the past for my Nikon D5100 DSLR with great results. When one of my D750 batteries died I decided to go Wasabi again. These have performed flawlessly! Last a long time. The remaining battery level shows up on my screen and seems to be accurate. I have shot over 500 photos on a single battery. Happy with purchase!

Beats out the OEM in every category!
Replacements for D7XXX, more power and no camera errors because it isn't the overpriced OEM. Tested in D7000, D7100 and D7200 with no errors from the camera. The OEM's are no better, these aren't gonna blow up, or do any of the nightmarish stuff the OEM rumor mill generates. I've used Wasabi's in FX and DX bodies for over 5 years, and no issues. But if you're a believer in the rumors or just filthy rich, then pay the much higher price for the OEM's. BTW, I didn't get these free or was compensated for this review.

Value plus!
After market, Wasabi maid (for Nikon EN-EL 15) battery worked very well in the newer Nikon Zf full frame mirrorless camera which I thought required a Nikon EN-EL 15c equivalent third party battery to work. I used the Wasabi battery of and on for more than a half day with a 3/4 capacity showing at the end. I would assume that it works very well in the Nikon Zf system. A different Wasabi battery also worked on the Mirrorless Nikon Z8 camera. The Nikon EN-EL batteries would not work on either of these cameras. I would say the third party battery, Wasabi is a definite winner on value.

$50 for a Nikon battery, nah!
These batteries are identical to my Nikon counterparts, they last about the same and so far they work flawlessly with both D500 and D850. I guess only time will tell how well charge last as time goes on. I don't mind taking a bet as a hobbyist on these over a Nikon, I get twice the amount of shots as I would with the Nikon for less money.

Great Product
I did research and the cells that are in these batteries are made in Japan. Japan makes the best rechargeables on the market. These batteries outlast the OEM Nikon battery by almost 2 times. I bought these for my last camera and again for this I am not sorry at all! I ordered another brand first for this camera because I couldn't find Wasabi brand, they do not compare! For aftermarket these are the best choice I have found so far. My only request is that they would make them in additional colors so they can be identified easier.

Not as good as OEM Nikon batteries
These Wasabi batteries do not hold a charge as long as the original Nikon batteries for my Z8. I should have looked more closely at the specs because the Wasabi’s are 2000mAh, 14Wh and the original Nikon’s are 2280mAh, 16wh. Wasabi’s are good if they match the OEM specs. These did not, so I will not buy them again.

Have been using this brand for years and it is reliable. Just replaced 2 cells which I have had for 5 years as they don’t hold the charge too well anymore. Much cheaper than Nikon branded product and last just as well.

Great batteries. Have been using them with various Nikon cameras for years with no problems. They have great customer service if you do have a problem, hubby had a problem with a battery and the replacement arrived very quickly.

years ago i bought phottix batteries for my cameras. they were great. then i went thru a couple of different brands. Total failure! But wasabi gets some good press. so i ordered 2 for my d800s. they work well, hold a pretty good charge but i noticed once they self-discharge quickly. i generally just leave my cameras turned on and after a couple days found one wasabi totally discharged. recharged and all ok. other than that minor hiccup, i'm very satisfied and have recommended them to other nikon shooters with dslrs.
