Excellent travertine repair kit
Finally, a quick and easy travertine repair kit which provides excellent and reproducible results! Our 20 yr old home has travertine flooring throughout and has seen its fair share of heavy traffic and use during that time. Given travertineโs structure we invariably developed surface defects which I previously repaired with kits containing Mastic and hardener in a defined ratio mix. I never looked forward to that process as it hardened quickly so time was of the essence when attempting several repairs, and despite careful scraping with a putty knife and gentle wiping, it always left a surface residue which later required careful sanding. And I never felt entirely comfortable estimating the correct mixing ratio of the Mastic to hardener. This water-cement based product exceeds my expectations by providing simple mixing of an odorless material, ample working time of roughly 15 minutes so I can patch multiple defects in one batch, and more complete removal of excess material outside of the defect with a quality putty knife and paper towel (dry worked as well as damp for me). I rarely write reviews but felt compelled to share the excellent attributes which this kit brings to the table. And as disclaimer, I have zero financial (or other) relationships with this company or any of its employees and have not and will not receive any financial gain for this review.

Great Product!!!
Amazing product! Second time using this product and I am still impressed. If you follow the instructions and go about your work quickly, this product works as advertised. If you have grouped tile before, the application of this product is similar. This product is a lifesaver!

Must have to have on-hand
Works very well for divets and holes - okay on cracks. I have several hundred square feet of travertine one my house, and I canโt imagine ever using all of this package - thereโs a ton in there. Also like that there are two colors (dark and light) in the box. Super easy to mix and apply.

Nice product
Be careful matching color. Flexible, but too easy to get too dark.

Great for holes; not as easy for cracks
I used on travertine. As others have said, the lids were loose and powder was all over the place upon arrival. (I have updated the info below after giving it a second try. I think the product works pretty well - still tricky for cracks, but it's mostly because the instructions don't yield good results. I came up with my own technique and it was much more successful.) Cracks: The instructions say to wait a few minutes to clean off excess with a sponge, making sure it's completely dry. I actually waited hours to make sure it was dry, but it removed all the filler. Part of the problem was being unable to find the crack when it was covered with the initial layer of product on and around the crack. This meant I accidentally rubbed too hard directly on the crack. On my second attempt, I waited until the surface was completely dry again (watching for the color changing to much lighter as it dries), but then I lightly sponged off some excess, stopped, and let it dry some more. I repeated this numerous times over several hours, gently removing excess layer by layer. That meant that eventually I could discern where the crack was located and when I got to the surface of my floor I made sure not to sponge off directly on top of the crack with a lot of pressure. This was a lot more successful. In some places I can't see cracks at all. In other places they're greatly diminished and not readily visible if I'm not looking for them. Holes: I tested with one hole first and it fills great and I could wipe off excess around hole without having product wipe away like had happened with the cracks. I did use a smaller tool to push the material into the holes before smoothing with the putty knife, so that I wouldn't have the excess spread too widely. Even though neither of the colors are an exact match for my travertine, I will confirm what others have said that you need to use the color of the powder, and not the mixed product, to judge your tint. it turns much much darker when you add the water, but it dries back to the original powder color that you start with. The bottom line is that if I want to take the time to really have patience and work on the cracks, I can probably fix most of the problems with my floor. But it is definitely a project that I will do piece by piece because I don't have enough patience to do it all at once! One other hint on holes: don't assume you were going to be able to find them after you fill them and need to go back and wipe off access. I had to be really careful that I marked where all the holes were because they disappeared so nicely once they were filled.

Good product
Like anything, youโl l be better on the next attempt than the first by virtue of experience. Determine the color before adding water and donโt add too much water where you have to compensate with more product (which renders your dry estimation inaccurate) It will dry lighter than it looks mixed with water. Take that into consideration when color matching. Apply sealant after it has thoroughly dried

Didnt cure
I followed directions (added water, mixed, put into hole and let it cure for about 30 hours but it wasnt very strong. A sponge just wiped it all out.
