Great storage shelving unit!!

It's ok for what it is, a hundred dollar shelving unit. Once it's assembled it seems sturdy enough, shelves are plenty large enough to hold whatever. I don't think I would put 2000 lbs on it, but it will hold plenty. I don't really like the wire shelves and I will probably cut some 1/4 plywood to put over them but that's me, it's not necessary.

Read the reviews and they seem to be good but my experience was not so much. Over half of the crossmembers would not slide into the grooves. The instructions state that you can “hit with a rubber mallet” to insure they are seated properly but even after beating the daylights out of the crossmember it still wouldn’t fit properly. Upon further inspection a lot of the riveted pins were not pressed in enough or the metal around them had bent and would not allow it to slide into place. (This was even the case for non seated/installed cross members.) After trying to fight with it for 30 minutes I decided it’s not worth my time and just decided to return the product. Hopefully I just got unlucky but definitely something to be aware of.

As was stated in some of the other reviews, some rivets were not able to pass into the corresponding slots. Also, some of the slots that were to receive the tabs of the crossbars were off, forcing the tabs into an awkward position. As a result, the unit could not be fully assembled with all of the joints secure. I most definitely would not dare to put 400 lbs. of weight on these soft wire shelves. Fortunately, the materials I had intended to store on the shelves of this unit are mostly very lightweight, so I am fine with keeping this unit, in spite of not all the joints being secure. I would have been very disappointed had I opted to return this, only to be informed that I had to pay for the shipping myself. Good price, solid metal parts; if the manufacturer could fix those problems this would be a great deal.

The shelf arrived quickly. It seems to be sturdy. It is easier to assemble with 2 people. You have to bend the ends of the under shelf supports to install them. We had some problems installing the shelf side supports. Some would go into the slots easily and used a rubber mallet, but still bent. Over happy with it. It was much cheaper than the comparable ones we found.

rivets will not fit into the holes in the shelves. plastic feet are cheap and all cracked while trying to assemble. Terrible return policy. I wanted to return it, but I am required to pay for all shipping. Huge mistake purchasing this. Don't make the same mistake I did.

Overrated! The pictures are misleading and make it appear to be premium metal shelves you'd find in Costco etc. The edging have holes to ghold metal bars (not visible in photos), found typical in $50 shelves. The only difference is metal wire shelves, which are prety flimsy.
