Just bought new Dell computers and put additional NVME drives for data storage. The drives fit just fine and also inside the computer. Have not checked to see if they do a good job of heat dissipation.

The product does work. One thing that I will say for my specific rig is that the SSD I installed was cooler around 30-35 C when not under load, and with load would fluctuate sometimes to 60-65 C. This does bring the over all down to around 45C and keeps it steady, but also raises the floor to about that same temp. It stays about 40-45C constantly.

The heatsink feels durable and looks cool in my PC, for $10 I'd say it was a worthwhile purchase. My SSD fit right into the heatsink no issues, and it came with a screw which is especially helpful since the SSD itself didn't come with one. I will say tho the screwdriver is comically tiny and it is trying so hard to be magnetic but it isn't, so if this is an extra SSD you are adding onto your PC then I hope your other SSD slots aren't under the GPU or else either take the GPU out so your hand can actually fit into there or you're gonna have a bad time (obviously this will differ depending on your motherboard, GPU, PC Tower, etc). Highly recommend just getting a different screwdriver with actual magnets. Also just wanna remind you before installing it, PLEASE TAKE OFF THE PLASTIC ON BOTH SIDES OF EACH THERMAL PAD!!! There are two thermal pads and each one has plastic coverings on both sides, so make sure you have four plastic coverings removed before installing into the PC.

Great product

This heatsink replaced an ASUS provided heatsink. My m.2 NVME 1T drive would on occasion hit 50C. It often ran in mid 40C temps. With this heatsink the NVME runs at a steady 30C. Installation was not simple. It required I pull the CPU cooler to access the drive.

Most recently I installed this onto an NVMe PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD and it was effortless. Opened the boxes and had the slim console upgraded in minutes. I have used these in the past on mini pc workstation upgrades. Glad to see the small low profile form factor made it an excellent choice for the millimeter precision of the console.

When they state that this does some cooling, they mean it. I remember receiving this on a near 90°F day and it was cool to the touch. I then partnered it with a 980 Pro. The heatsink fits well within the PS5 and provided more than enough clearance for the SSD cover to go back on. If you are looming to buy the Samsung 980 Pro without the heatsink and are looking for one to go with it. Look no further cause you have found the one.
