I’ve taken it through TSA multiple times with no issues at all, which was one of my biggest concerns, and everything went smoothly each time. I have used this insulin travel case cooler on 3 trips in the past 2 1/2 months. Travel by car, air and sea have not given me any problems with this unit. After freezing the gel unit, I was able to keep my insulin cool without having to refreeze the gel unit for about a day and a half. Even after this time, the unit kept the insulin at a safe temp level. It is able to hold 1 Mounjaro injectable pen effectively. The cooler was inside a suitcase during travel and took up about the same space as a 20 oz water bottle. It was a bit bulky but well insulated and held up well through all the trips. The lid has a good seal and when twisted closed does not seem to loosen without a good twist. The quality and appearance of the coating are good and does not seem to scratch easily.

Travel Case for travel and day trips, and it’s been solid so far. It keeps my medication cool for long periods without needing electricity, which makes flying and road trips much less stressful. The case feels durable, compact, and easy to pack in a backpack or carry-on. I also like that it doesn’t look overly medical. The TSA-friendly design and reusable biogel pack are a big plus. I purchased this to keep medications cool during international air travel flights, some of which are longer than 15 hours. Works great and is nice and slender. No issues with TSA, either - as long as the cooling block is frozen solid when it is taken through security.

My husband recently started to use an injectable to control his diabetes. He saw this and it appears that it will work perfectly. It is the size of an insulated water bottle, so it is not bulky at all. It looks like an insulated water bottle, with a removable part to put in the freezer. It is a great value for the money. He has not had to use it yet, so hoping it works as well as we expect. Highly recommend.

This is advertised as TSA approved but be aware that it will require extended screening when going through a TSA security checkpoint. The agent doing the extended screening on mine told me that the unit like mine was the one they prefer. Mine has the plain cap, no digital temp display. He said they really don’t like those as the electronics along with the cooling gel give the agents pause, ie looks a lot like an explosive device. The plain version isn’t a problem for them. For my purpose this worked great. West to east coast flight, it kept things nice and cool. On the way home I put it in my checked luggage to avoid having to re-freeze it and the extra screening. Also note that if the cooking cylinder is t frozen, the TSA will flag it and might take the cylinder.
