Perfect Hydrating Tool, Easy!
Works Amazing! My custom tele neck, was shrunk, cold winter in a basement with only a gig bag. Placed two bags inside my gig bag for a month, kept it closed the entire time. Opened it up, the frets were like perfect, no sharp edges, the guitar was like brand new when I received it. I'll utilize these always. Just be patient, and keep the case / or gig bag shut for a while, and presto, it hydrates! So easy to use, and that's a huge benefit as well.

Lasts a long time! 5+++ years
I have a Taylor and use a Taylor case I bought these 5 years ago and only replaced them because they so old I was afraid they may leak. My guitar teacher took them for his humidor. No kidding these work amazingly well I tracked the humidity and it stayed perfect. A must own for any guitar owner

Maybe not for everyone
I've been using other various humidifiers, the "sponge type" for years. You do have to keep them moist and be a little careful with them, but they are inexpensive and work, well actually. The D'Addario ones I've been using for a while now and this is my first refill and I'm not that happy with them. I use my guitar regularly, so the case is open and closed often. Sometimes it's left open for a while. The arguably moisture from these gets wasted and they don't seem to recover. They are expensive compared to alternatives. So basically, I don't think they are for everyone. If you have a vintage / expensive guitar kept in a case and have a pretty constant moisture level, this is probably the way to go. It would be good protection and less maintenance.

Humidifier Packs are a simple, powerful, affordable way to protect your guitar and your investment
Anybody who has a nice acoustic guitar knows it's a delicate thing, made of natural wood. If you don't humidify that wood, it will crack, ruining the guitar or necessitating expensive repairs. The Daddario Humidifier Packs I've used are amazing, easy, and effective. They last about 6 months and AUTOMATICALLY keep your guitar (if stored inside its case) at an ideal 45% humidity level. Just put one of the 3 packs that come in the box under the headstock of your guitar; and hang the other two -- like a saddle on the back of a horse -- over the strings. That's it. I like this humidifying solution MUCH more than the 'sponge' or 'soundhole' humidifiers, which -- even when inserted properly -- stretch your strings to the side to make room, and are sometimes prone to spilling water. I love my Gibson guitar, and I love knowing it has plenty of humidity in the case.
