I like Neewer for offering the cheapest possible photo equipment while remaining above a minimum level of quality for utility. Some options are cheaper, but will fall apart or just not work. Neewer is never going to last a lifetime, but you can always trust it to work for you for a long time. This item is no exception. The diffuser material is perfect, and it works, and that's really all that matters. The cords inside around the ring, and the Velcro straps are a bit cheap, but they're functional. Works very well with my DIY LED ring light (type that into YouTube and you'll find about ten videos doing the same project). The important bit: it will fit one of these DIY ring lights even if you use an 18" wreath frame (which has a 12" inner diameter). The item description here says it fits an 18" outer and 14" inner diameter light, but because the DIY LED light project is so flat compared to a "real" ring light, it will still fit. I have it on my 18"/12" ring light and it fits perfectly and diffuses the light just enough to go from a collection of points of light to a more appealing ring of light.

It helps diffuse harsh light. My cover had a small hole in it. So I’m hoping it doesn’t stretch over time. But overall happy with it. I will say it’s a little hard to put on at first. But you get the hang of it.

i was really excited when i got this because it was inexpensive and had positive reviews. :( HOWEVER, when i was installing it, the velcro part of the bands felt very flimsy. In fact, 20 minutes into using it, i noticed it was coming off. When i was taking this item off of my light, i did it as careful as i possibly could, but the seams holding the top part of the velcro came off. I think i can super glue back without sewing it and making more holes on the cloth, but i feel like this could be avoided if the product had been inspected before selling it.

It’s a bit tricky to make it fit perfectly but the lights are way better with it. Worth the money I would say. 3 stars only bc of the fit

Based on other reviews I wasn’t sure if this would fit a 19 inch ring light, but I did read a few reviews that said it fit. Fits perfectly! Nice snug but comfortable fit on a 19 inch ring light. Happy with the diffusion too!
