I keep this on the charger so it works all the time. It works, looks nice and classy.

I struggled to open my wine I have rheumatoid arthritis and the manual way was horrible on my hands. what a difference it made using this amazing opener. it even has a little cutter with it to remove the foil cover on the top! Doesn't get better than this. If it ever breaks I will definitely buy again!!!

Big, bulky, loud and worthless. Two out of three corks need to be removed with pliars, especially the waxy ones. Battery life sucks too. Bummed to miss the return window when we finally gave up.

Got this as a replacement for a cheaper unit that had failed. This seems to be well worth a little extra. Does the job perfectly, seems quite robust, and is attractive as well.

UPDATE TO 1 Star Review: As I was in the process of reading over my negative review, Cuisinart's customer support phone number came up on my screen so I decided to call them. A very nice young lady named Tiffany listened to my problem and arranged to have a replacement sent out immediately. I will receive it in a few days! I know I have the backing of a dependable company who stands behind their product! Please ignore my previous negative review. I'm so disappointed in a disappointing Cuisinart product! My experience is that this wine opener must be charged before each use. I had another automatic wine opener before that held a charge for weeks and many bottle openings. I don't open wine bottles every day - perhaps one or two a week. But after the first opening, the charger went dead and I had to charge it again to open another bottle. I don't think the unit is meant to keep on the charger constantly, is it? At any rate, I had so much confidence in the brand, that once I opened the box, and set it on the charger, I disposed of the box it came packaged in. But now, I don't have any confidence in this device (which I purchased on Prime day at a good price) and will return it!

This is wonderful for removing corks. Just press one button to remove and the other to eject the cork from the machine. Tip: you need to hold the remove button longer than you’d think but it does all the work for you! Great gift for people with arthritis.

This electric corkscrew worked just fine for 38 months (152 weeks), then it no longer had the power to pull out the cork, even when fully charged. I used it about twice a week, but I travel a lot, so I was gone about 24 of those 152 weeks. The warranty is 3 years (36 months), so I can't make a claim. This item will work for you if you are willing to replace it every 2 or 3 years (or less if you use it more than twice a week).

Lo volvería a comprar si fuera necesario. Es muy fácil de usar...aunque en eso le di 4 estrellas. Por que al principio cometí el error de presionar mucho y parecia difícil usarlo. Pero en realidad es sencillo. No hay que ejercer presión. Simplemente dejar que el sacacorchos entre y salga solo. Es cosa de prácita unas 2 o 3 veces. Lo recomiendo

This barley worked for the first 3 month and then it started to just chew up corks and shred them into the bottle but still not pull it out. It’s a waste of money, and plus you need to buy a strainer to fit in the wine glass after to filter out the cork.
