Good battery life, stylish and does the job!

Writing this review after one and half year of using the Luxe.
It is working perfectly on all parameters only shortcoming is that the battery backup . You will have to recharge it every alternate day.

Good for a first wearable
Good for counting steps and heart rate which is why I bought it. Battery life is good. Lasts for almost 4-5 days. The fitbit soon stopped sensing motion and the screen display doesn't turn on with the flip of the wrist. The straps start looking worn out and i havent found an effective way to clean the dirt that gets stuck in the holes in the strap. Overall does the job.

Book by it's cover
I went for luxe because it was minimalistic yet great looking. It worked fine for the first 6 months but I don't know if it was updates or planned obsolescence at work but the battery life just got exponentially worse every few months, a year and a half later it will randomly shut down in a day after a full charge and the battery status isn't even displayed right so it's unreliable. I get it that a tech startup has to make profits so they can sell their company to Google but one and a half year at this price point is nothing but a sham so I'll just recommend anyone considering to buy a luxe or anything from Fitbit: just don't. I'm not the only one warning you about battery issues so don't join the gang. Go buy something else

Bit pricey
I have bought this for 9997. It's stylish. Battery lasts for 7-8 days. If heart rate is enabled it lasts for max 5 days. It has various sports modes.

Worked well for one year
I bought the Luxe in October 2022. It worked really well for a year. After that I sensed it was not counting steps accurately. In July I figured that it was counting each vigorous shake of my arm as a step!!! This happened while i was filing my nails. I realised that quick movements of my arms were adding to my step count!!! I am not certain if I can rely on its sleep and other health monitors. The battery life too dipped sharply after a year. Initially the battery would last for around 8 days. Now it struggles to touch four.

Used & old Fitbit received
Fitbit box looks old& faded. The box was received in damaged condition and looks like it has been retaped/ resealed. The band and especially the charging wire has some kind of whitish layer on it as if it was cleaned with something. Definitely not new and seems pretty old and used.
