Sweese 1102 Porcelain Bowls - 18 Ounce for Cereal, Salad, Dessert - Set of 6, Hot Assorted Colors

The assorted colours are great for kids and for serving. As with other Sweese porcelain, they are high quality bowls and hold up well in the dishwasher. This purchase has completed our collection of larger bowls for serving guests.

I have used the 10 oz white bowls for a long time. These are very pretty, but I wish the company made a 14 oz bowl. I could use a little smaller size.

I have been slowly adding to my Sweese collection as I love the bright colors and simple design. As long as there are no problems with your order all is good! Unfortunately in my last order instead of receiving a dark blue bowl, I received 2 yellow bowls. I decided to reach out to the company (with the replacements insert included in my order provided by Sweese). I sent them pictures and my order information. My first email back they offered me 16% cash back. I declined and requested they only send me the missing dark blue bowl. They replied and said they could not replace a single bowl and told me to contact amazon, send my order back, and reorder. Not the customer service I would have expected. If you want some cute dishes I say go for it because they’re very cute, but if you have any problems I would hesitate in reaching out to the company as they are not customer friendly.

This is a really disappointing post I have to make about this product. If you ask my children... I looovvveee the Sweese name and their products. I’m building my dining collection around it. I just love this colorful scheme and the vibrant colors. However, when it comes to these bowls, I’ve had 3 crack when I put them in the microwave or dishwasher. Although on the bottom of the bowls it’s says “Microwave & Dishwasher” safe. I haven’t had them that long yet. Not even a year, I don’t think. I’m very disappointed as I really wanted to purchase 2 more sets to add them to our dining collection. I also want to purchase some sets of the salad /pasta bowl ( they look like plates) in the same color scheme. I’m just afraid to purchase them now 😞 I should’ve taken a picture of the first 2 that cracked and split earlier this year. But I just figured I’d just get some more, eventually. One of them cracked in the dishwasher. The other split in the microwave like this orange bowl just did. I didn’t even have it in long at all. Just under a minute to heat up some leftover white rice to add to my son’s plate. Now, I’m not sure what to do. I’m really big on quality vs quanity. I have no issue paying more than the average for quality. You expect to get something durable. That would last for a long time. It’s just sad that this product has fallen short of that expectation. I really hope that the owners are reading this feedback and taking all of this into consideration. I wanted to replace these bowls. However, I know I’m way outside of my return policy. I’ve attached some pics so you can see how this one cracked/split tonight.

EDIT: While the bowls are actually quite nice, my original review was mean to reflect the entire purchasing experience. At first I thought it didn't go well, but Sweese Customer Service later offered to replace the entire set of bowls. Excellent solution. Thank you! I bought these after buying - and loving - a set of Sweese coffee mugs in the same color palette. (The mugs are awesome; great colors, good quality/sturdy, and stackable!) But two of the bowls arrived broken. Inside the package was a slip of paper touting their replacement policy. I wrote to them as directed, but instead of offering to replace the broken bowls, they offered a discount. I don't want four good bowls and two broken bowls. I want all six I ordered. I'll have to return them. Otherwise, they seem pretty nice. Good finish, good weight, great colors, and the perfect size. I just wish they weren't broken (and not replaceable).
