If you are sensible with this rod and reel it is stunning. Light, soo small, convenient, super quality, and the list goes on. It does come with line by the way, but no hooks/weights etc. which is still fantastic value. I pop it in my back-pack when I go solo camping... when I get the odd chance to get away from my young kids, lovely wife, and stressful career and on the spur of the moment etc. can just nip it out have a quick fishing (I have a rod licence although I have to admit that seeking river-bank permission holder is hmmm, lets just say this is lightning quick to setup and unset) session then pack it away in no-time. As I said, be aware of what it is and don't go trying to test it by trying to bend it at right angles, fishing lines put steadily more down+pulling pressure even when lifting small fish, not a forceful pressure right on the end pulling down like some people seem to have tested it as. Every experienced fisherman I have shown the rod and reel to have stated how useful it looks and some have stated they would also purchase one as a backup/stalking rod.

Great feel reel but the end eye popped off after a couple of uses, shame coz cut my fishing day short.

Works well, easy and fast to set up and very fun to use, the reel is good for the price but does tangle every now and gain . Its amazingly light and compact. Only bad things are the line it comes with is rlly bad so just replace it and if you get snagged the rod bends a lot so just pull the line off yourself.

Pulled it out and extended it first time we used it. Totally stuck could not get it back in tried everything. Its a cute gimmick I suppose for kids and things. Had a cool solid reel but cheap metal on the rod

Really awesome product! Bought it for my husband who is an avid fisherman. He keeps it in his truck so he can fish little rivers or streams he comes across while our driving. Compact size, decent reel. Very happy with the product.

I bought this for my husband. He is going on a mission trip to Peru. The item is small and can be taken easily without adding weight or being difficult due to size. The quality of this item is great! It is so small and compact that I was pleasantly surprised by the item when it's fully extended and put together. He hopes to catch food for the men while they are in the jungle. It will be a great addition to their trip.

Habe die Angel für meine 3Jährige Tochter gekauft. Sie hat sich sehr über die „Mädchenfarbe“ gefreut. Für die Größe und den Preis bin ich von der Qualität überrascht. Besser als gedacht hält die Angel ganz gut was aus. Fisch haben wir auch damit gefangen.
