A good and reliable product. I liked how absorbent this was on my skin without feeling too heavy or rich. I use several of the altruist products as they were recommend to me by a friend. I can use this at night or during the day underneath sun screen and make up. A great go to for a quick easy moisturiser but without the SPF.

I’ve been using the Altruist Dermatologist Moisturising Body Lotion with 6% Urea for a few weeks now, and I’m absolutely impressed. It’s incredibly hydrating without feeling greasy, and my skin feels soft and smooth all day long. The 6% urea concentration is perfect for tackling dry patches and rough skin, especially during the winter months. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the texture of my skin, and it absorbs quickly, making it great for daily use. It also has a gentle, non-overpowering scent, which is a bonus. Overall, a fantastic product for anyone with dry or sensitive skin! Highly recommend it.

Great emollient moisturiser for dry skin. Does for a bit of a layer on the skin so don't apply just before going to bed. Purchased for the urea content to soften and lighten the skin on my knees and elbows and its working fairly well. Will step up to the 10% urea one next.

This should be used as an underlayer to whatever moisturiser you use; so, when people describe it as 'too light', then that's how it's supposed-to-be. It goes on first to already damp skin to get the best out of this product. It's not greasy, and does fully absorb into the skin, and once dried to a soft, dry feel, then apply a suitable moisturiser. If you want the best for your skin, also drink a lot of water, and being in the supplement industry I also take the best hyaluronic acid supplements to aid this topical application. I've used this product since it was first available via Amazon, and people do say that I look younger than my years, although I cannot verify that statement, as I cannot see properly to see if they're just being kind. Too much topical hyaluronic acid could also have the opposite effect and start to dry-out skin, and that's why they typically only have seemingly low-levels, but any more than around 2% might start to have an adverse effect upon your skin; so, this 0.5% is safely within those limits. It has risen in price since I first ordered it, (25%) but it's still a reasonable outlay for a quality product. Plus; as an altruist myself, a percentage of each sale does support others, and that is to be only commended. So, I trust in others that it works, (from their aforementioned comments) and I have not experienced any negative issues whilst using this product, and to my knowledge, the composition has not changed since first purchasing.

I ordered this to help me soothe and protect my skin during a severe flare up of what is probably rosacea. After 3 months of spreading raised red lumps, scaly and itchy skin on my face I was getting desperate to find something to help. I stopped doing anything to my face ( such as oatmeal face masks, tea tree oil cleansers, honey etc, which only seemed to make things worse). I do not wear any makeup. I am now using only this Altruist moisturiser several times a day, combined with the Altruist sunscreen and colour correction when I go outdoors. My skin has settled down, the redness and raised lumps gradually lessening over about a week. Not all gone but I am hopeful of getting a clear skin back in time. The product is absorbed quickly and keeps my skin supple overnight. The price us very reasonable and I am happy to go on using it.
