Wonderful screen for the price. Good value.
Wonderful screen for the price. I have been using the Sceptre U275W-UPT monitor for a year now and it works very well with no issues. It has impressive quality and performance. The 3840 x 2160 resolution looks great with everything being sharp, colorful, and vibrant. I adjusted the display to 175% scale; to increase the text size (150% is recommended). Overall, I use it for everyday household purposes but imagine that it would be wonderful for business or gaming purposes as well.

You get a lot for the price!
This is an excellent 4K monitor for the price! It works great, no issues. I use it for gaming and it provides a stunning image quality upgrade over my 1440P monitor. Detial is great, colors pop, and no issues with dead pixels. I've been using this monitor for a year now and have been very impressed. Just an FYI, this monitor is a 10bit 4K 60Hz monitor, and if you set it to 70Hz then it switches to 8bit. If you switch it to 75Hz then it reduces the resolution to 1440P. But more than acceptable for the price.

Impressive 4K Monitor for the Price!
I’ve been using the Sceptre U275W-UPT monitor for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed with the quality and performance it delivers at this price point. The 3840 x 2160 resolution looks fantastic everything is incredibly sharp and vibrant. Setup was quick and straightforward. With multiple input options including HDMI and DisplayPort, it fits perfectly into my multi-device setup running four computers. The built-in speakers are a nice bonus great for casual use when I don’t feel like wearing headphones. That said, I haven’t yet found a way to switch audio automatically when changing inputs between PCs, which would be a helpful addition. There are a few things to keep in mind. First, the monitor does not support Picture-in-Picture (PiP) or Picture-by-Picture (PbP) modes, which would be useful for multitasking across multiple sources. Second, if you plan to use a VGA to HDMI adapter to connect older devices, this monitor may not be compatible. I tested it with a known working adapter and was unable to get a signal. Additionally, the monitor is relatively thick, so be prepared for it to stick out a bit more than slimmer models, especially if you're mounting it. Overall, despite these minor limitations, this is a fantastic 4K monitor with excellent image quality, solid build, and useful features at a very reasonable price. I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to upgrade their workspace without spending a fortune.

Bought for gaming
I bought this monitor only for gaming. Decided it was time to upgrade from my 1080 samsung which I love, but felt like I was missing out on what the next gen consoles offers in terms of image quality. I play on a PS5 and Xbox series X and here's what I think: -Set up is ridiculously simple (unless you want to mount on the wall), otherwise you just click the base on the back, and screw these 4 little screws to the foot of the base. And it comes with a screwdriver. -Image quality is amazing, color is the most vibrant color I've seen on a monitor, tweak the setting to 75% sharpness and you got a fantastically detailed game (Guardians of the Galaxy looks so good!) -Runs a ok 60fps when plugged into HDMI1. Now here's what I dislike: -2 out of the 3 HDMI ports are useless, on the description it says you get 4k at 60fps on HDMI1 and the same resolution on 30FPS with HDMI2 and 3, that's a LIE! Both the PS5 and Xbox Series X did not recognize the ports 2 and 3 as 4K, only 1080 for PS5 and 1440 for Xbox Series X. So that was misleading and frankly false advertisement. Now I had to buy a HDMI splitter to have both consoles plugged into the only one 4k port. -Speakers are useless, I'm sitting at arms length to the monitor with volume at 100 and it's horribly low and frankly awful quality. However, that to me isn't a deal breaker since I always play with headphones. Overall, I'm keeping it. I love the image quality, it is the main reason why I bought it. Had a downside of needing to buy extra HDMI splitter but it's an easy inexpensive fix. I mainly play RPGs, action and adventure games (Elden Ring, Nier, Horizon, Witcher) so 4k at 60fps does it ok for me. But if you play competitive online multiplayer games like Call of duty, Valorant etc. This might not be the monitor for you.

Great workstation monitor!
These are my go-to bang-for-buck workstation monitors. I see them advertised as "gaming monitors," which strikes me as odd, given that most gamers I know really want at least 120Hz refresh rates for their shooty-shooty-bang-bang partytimes. This? This is a drop-dead-sexy work monitor at a really accessible price, and I'm not sure why you'd choose it for gaming. 99% sRGB gamut, UHD resolution, built-in basic sound that's not awful...this is a workstation monitor, folks. And it's a great workstation monitor. I own two. I love them. Bright, clear, colors accurate enough for my light Photoshop work, resolution high enough that fonts just look awesome, smooth and natural...this is a great work monitor. Surprisingly sturdy base -- it looks flimsy but it really isn't -- and a beautiful edge-to-edge light and color balance. You want gaming? Look at Sceptre's other models, with faster refresh rates and lower latency. You want a great 27" work monitor for under $200? You've come to the right place. If your Excel spreadsheets need more than 60fps, your life is much more exciting than mine.

Will it Last? Edit : it didn’t; get the warranty!
Good while it lasted. Upon receipt of the monitor there were physical artifacts on the inside of the screen like packing material had crept between the monitor lcd and glass no big deal i said (Christmas '24 purchase) now 4/2026 and the monitor is a brick it began flickering today and now its completely dead. Logo wont even pop up anymore I am attempting to see how the warranty RMA program will work out as I registered in May of '25 So we'll see and i'll update with more stars dependent on how that process goes. Fingers Crossed 2 stars for now. Edit: so they denied my warranty due to it being 16 months instead of 12 which literally just means they make a product that only lasts for 16 months hopefully. Luckily I had purchased a 3 yr extended warranty knowing nothing about this brand but glad I did. Removed star do to poor customer service and them not standing behind their product.

My 27" Sceptre Monitor: The Upgrade I Didn't Know I Neededl
was helping a friend with a project when her monitor nearly broke my soul. After just one hour of squinting at that dim, washed-out screen, I rushed home, fired up my 27-inch Sceptre 4K , and immediately started typing this review. This thing is outstanding. I sit in front of it 3–4 hours every single day, and I’d been taking that buttery-smooth, vibrant quality completely for granted. Crisp details, rich colors, zero eye strain — it just delivers day after day. Until I saw what my friend and neighbor are working with, I didn’t realize how spoiled I am. This monitor is the ultimate “you don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone”… except in reverse. Out of sight? Definitely not out of mind. If you’re staring at a screen for hours, do yourself a favor and upgrade to this beast. You’ll thank yourself every single day.
