Can you write/draw on this pad with a piece of paper or is it too soft that it will puncture the paper?

It is a bit soft, and it is not recommended to write or draw directly on it.

How do you clean this? Can I put it in my washing machine?

I wouldn't recommend a washing machine. Vacuuming the felt is okay. Soak it in your bath tub with a little water, a cup of vinegar water and a couple drops of Dawn soap, or a smig of laundry soap.

The portion of the pad that was more tightly rolled is wrinkled after 2 weeks of waiting for it to go away. How can I remove the wrinkles?

The easy fix for this was to spray a little water on it with a mist and then I ironed it with a towel over it and after 5 minutes the folds came out.
