It is a definitely a 'faux' look and not something I would want in my home. The movement was a $5 quartz unit. The clock was returned same day for refund. It's a shame as Toscano used to sell very good quality brass clocks made in Italy and using nice German made movements. Can't quite understand why they would change to cheap junk like this. ### ⭐⭐⭐ 3.0 out of 5 stars Make it incredible with minimal work *by M***J on Reviewed in the United States on July 12, 2023* I inherited this clock from my grandmother along with 2 “real” bronze 19th century clocks. The difference is obvious , but this is a resin clock after all….I guess this clock has been on sale for a long time. The finish is not realistic and the quartz movement with the cheap dial and clear plastic are awful and cheap…..I simply found a real bronze and glass and dial case on eBay and swapped it out, and took some rose bronze wax paint to the cherub and the clock now looks incredible.
