Works!
Saved money, it worked as intended and the car feels better overall after replacing the Cracked PCV seal. I bought 2 just in case.

Perfect fitment, even the cap.
19 X3 m40i. Smoke and train whistle after letting it idle for a while. Pulled the original diaphragm and there was a slit in it. Broke the stock cap when removing and got worried because I saw reviews saying this cap didn’t fit right. But it fit perfectly, nice and tight just like stock. Gonna buy a couple extra. Hongwin for the win!! PS: your car will smoke for another 20-30 min after install, just drive it and the rest of the oil will burn off in the exhaust and then no more smoke👍🏻

If you drive a BMW with a B58 Engine, you should keep one of these in the car
I heard that the PCV diaphragm on these engines would fail unexpectedly dramatically so I ordered one in advance. When it did let go (at about 50K miles) the car made a white smoke screen that was just awful. Swapping in the new one literally took 2 minutes, and the air cleared.

Does not properly work on B58 engine
Mine came defective. It does not seal properly. You can hear the pressure releasing. Normally this part is hard to install on the valve cover due to tight fitting but this part is so loose that it feels like it just sits on there. Do not waste your time or take a chance to further damage your engine….

Hongwin 11127645173 New PCV Valve Cover Repair Kit Valve Cap with Membrane B58
This kit worked great for my BMW B58 PCV cover. Once replaced the noise and the white smoked stopped. Great value for your money and easy to install.

Excellent and easy repair for the common PCV valve failure.
Fantastic! Cheapest and easiest engine repair ever. Did you get the SQEEEEEE and smoke in your BMW? Sounded expensive, right? This is probably what you need. The original plastic cap cracked during removal (common) so it's good this includes one. Your OEM spring is probably reuseable, but this includes one. Small and cheap enough to keep a spare in the toolbag.

The real fix for valve cover issues with PCV
Fixed my valve cover for a thousand dollars less than the dealership and only took 10 min!
