This is a great value, not only in terms of price for quantity but in terms of product quality. Okay, the tools are inexpensive plastic, but the amount of clay and selection of colors is A-MAZING! I have several mini sculpting projects in mind for holiday gifts, but I feel like I just bought a holiday gift for myself. Glad to have discovered this product!

This very reasonable price for a set of polymer clay and tools convinced me to try the clay in spite of reviews that mentioned dry, dirty clay that was not workable and burned when baked. Instead, I received this set of 100 colors of polymer clay. The texture is more oily than Fimo or Sculpey, but with a little kneading, it is no longer so obvious. I baked the kids' and my creations at 250 degrees for 15 minutes or a little longer. They came out perfectly baked with no burned areas. Even Sculpey will burn if left in the oven too long. I am an elementary art teacher. I took the set to school for my second and third graders in the art club. I gave them a few pointers about using polymer clay. I did not even mention the jewelry findings that were included in the kit. The students were VERY successful. All of them said it was their first time using polymer clay, so they were true beginners. They marbled the clay, used the resin mold, and made rings, earrings, and some pendants. I forgot to take pics and the creations are still at school, so I don't have the pics right now. Yesterday, I busted out the kit again to use with my five-year-old granddaughter. It was the first time she ever used polymer clay. (She has played with Play-Doh a LOT.) She also used the tools and tricks I showed her to mold some heart-shaped charms and beads. I made a cane to form the flowers. The little dog was a joint effort. As you can see, she was also very successful. I even forgot to set the timer for the baking. I overbaked by about 15 minutes, but the pieces still did not burn. The only thing I did NOT like was that the clay tools included in the kit would not cut my cane sharply so I had to bust out my sharper metal guillotine cutting tools to leave the sharp image on the cane. Beginners and children should not use those sharper tools anyway, so if this kit is marketed for children, these plastic tools are the right tools for the job. Overall, I am VERY satisfied with my purchase.

Bought this for my kids (4&6yr) to help offset the tv during the summer months. They love creating little animals and food as well as little fairy house things to put outside. I bought a resin so when they dry they have an extra bit of protection for outside weather. The package has a lot of colors choices and tools and it comes with a gem mold and all the colors are held in a nice plastic container for easy storage.

I did not have high expectations after seeing some of the reviews for this clay, but I needed some "practice" clay for some new projects. While it's reeeeeally really tough to condition, it baked up very nicely. The color choices were very nice. A few repeats but overall the selection I received was well varied. This clay is definitely not for beginners because even after a VERY long while of conditioning, it still would crumble or split. It's fine to just play with, but I can't imagine it being that much fun. This clay will be great for bases and things I'm going to cover with better quality clay..

My 10 year old builds everything from game characters to full-blown battleships. He has created some of the coolest aliens and monster. It provides hours of fun using his imagination and brain. It teaches him to use the oven safely to cure his clay creations and teaches him to follow instructions. Love the colors and options. If he's making larger items, he fills the center with aluminum foil and build the clay item around the foil. This helps keep the clay thin enough to complete cure in the oven.

Had to leech all the excess oil to make a good cane that doesn't smear too bad while slicing. Ended up mixing the "like" colors to make a huge chunk of one color. Like all the yellow, red and blue shaded blocks to make the primary colors, I chopped them up and blended with their like-colors to make one really nice color. But it bakes so good, it gives joy to my crafty goblin brain.

This was an excellent purchase!! I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and quantity included, especially for the price! The case included holds all the clay perfectly, making it easy to clean up and store, even for my 7 yay old with an aversion to cleaning up. The set came with plenty of jewelry accessories and clay tools and literally lacked nothing. It even had things I didn't think were included, giving us plenty of things to add detail to our sculptures. Will definitely purchase again!!! I can't express how great the value is for this set. Extremely satisfied with the whole experience!! Would give more than 5 stars if I could.
