Dymo Scale Doesn't Always Reset to Zero
I bought one of these scales from OfficeMax in 2016. It gave me 9 years of accurate dependable service. In early May the scale readings became erratic. It was time to replace the scale so I bought a new one. The new scale I bought here on Amazon doesn't always reset to zero after I weigh an item. The scale will sometimes reset to .2 oz. If I weigh an item again, the weight will always be off by .2 oz. When the scale doesn't reset to zero, I have to turn the scale off and then back on so it will reset to zero. Update: I was mistaken. There is nothing wrong with the scale. It turns out the cheap batteries I installed were causing all the problems. I bought some Duracell AAA batteries and installed them in the scale. The scale resets to zero every time and there are no issues with the scale.
