No more Auto Drip
My Sister-N-Law introduced me to a French Press while on vacation and I loved it. A little extra work in preparation and cleaning than the normal way of making coffee, but it is worth it. The double filter has been great on reducing grinds in the cup. The final product has been great and a better quality of coffee is the end result. Actually, I have found that I use less coffee in the brewing process. Especially, using a better grade of coffee. I love a dark roast coffee and this press has helped to achieve my desired results.

The Best Press!!
I've used this for years and never once got coffee grounds in my beverage. Easy to clean and well worth every penny after trying so many other presses that failed to do the job. Accidently broke my old one, so I just bought my second one of these and decided to leave a review.

Very good but not great
More coffee equals more better. My only gripe is the paper filters strip the flavor of the French press but the mesh filters don't filter a ton more as I had hoped. Still very good though.

THE BEST French Press Coffee Maker -- Hands Down!!!
The ESPRO French Press Coffee Maker makes the absolute cleanest and best-tasting French press coffee of any system that I've tried! Sample filter papers are included to use with it, which make the coffee even cleaner! Regular coffee filters work just as well.So very happy with the ESPRO, and will never go back to using any other French press!Thank you to the inventors! Much needed by all of us!

Very good coffeemaker!!
Very nice French press. Use it every day!!The rubber gasket works much better than the screens that normal French presses have. Still pour through a fine strainer as some dregs still come through. But better.

Neat concept, cumbersome design
Prior to purchasing my ESPRO, I had a bare bones stainless steel French press. When I broke the handle off of that, I decided to upgrade because I am an absolute sucker for Features, which sometimes gets me into trouble.Pros:- If you're a nerd (like me) who enjoys the ritual of making coffee but absolutely despises a "muddiness" to your coffee (unlike me), the ESPRO produces a clean cup up there with a Chemex.- The carafe is definitely solid, made with reinforced glass, and this helps if you're having a more leisurely morning as this assists in heat retention.Cons:- The filter is comically large and this leads to a number of its shortcomings.1. There's limited ability to decide how much coffee you want and you want to stay within the given ranges. If you make too little, the filter won't press all the way down and the differences in pressure will leave a lot of your coffee inaccessible unless you want to go through multiple rounds of pulling the piston up and pressing it down again along with fiddling it and hoping.2. Since it's not a flat filter, the shape of it leaves a lot of room for the grounds to collect and attach themselves to the sides, meaning that when you pull it out to clean, you're likely going to create a huge mess. It's also weighted heavily, so I can't do what I did previously and tilt it, let it air out, and clean when dry, because it won't tilt on its own without toppling.3. It also won't get dry! The plastic ring around the filter absolutely prevents any unwanted particles from getting into your cup, but it also keeps moisture in (preventing the grounds from drying out) and, in pulling the filter out, collects the condensation and produces some inevitable splashing.- The carafe fits into the chassis with a simple tab that slides into the handle. It doesn't ultimately lock in place anywhere, so there's a risk that you could be pouring only to have the carafe fall out as well (which is how I can testify to its durability!).In conclusion, I like science. The ESPRO is more aesthetic. I miss my caveman French press.

Filter leaked grounds and sediment with every brewing cycle.
Giving one star because I had to return this item. I owned an Espro P3 for several years and liked it a lot. When the filter on that finally gave out, I upgraded to the espro P5. Looked sleek and less plastic--advertised as the same filter system. But NO--it wasn't the same filter system because this one leaked grounds and loads of sediment every single time I brewed coffee. I tried lowering the volume, changing the amount of coffee I used, etc. NO luck--still got grounds and mud in my cups!

Amazingly fresh coffee
Iโve had many French press cafetiรจres over the years, (and still have them) and all leaked coffee grouts in some way or another, but this model is just amazing. It has a fantastic double design with its filter system, extremely easy to set up and use and even clean afterwards. The coffee tastes so much better, and because of the extra thickness glass inner jar stays hot for longer tooโฆ excellent quality and just so easy to clean, and yes, you can even get spare parts if ever needed. Compared to other expensive models I have this was a great buy and a discount too, result!! Highly recommended!!
