Which is it?** A: This mini milling machine has a 110V motor which is rated a 1/2 HP. **Q: Do you carry the plastic gear that mounts under the motor?** A: Check littlemachineshop.com they do carry it and it is very inexpensive **Q: Do they make or recommend a stand for this machine?** A: There is not a stand specifically made for the milling machine. The manual states to secure the milling machine to a flat surface working table. **Q: can i use this to mill some gun parts like 80% AR15 lower?** A: I have used a harbor freight mini mill and drill to do my AR-15 80% lower and this unit looks identical.
