Howard Products Butcher Block Conditioner and Food Grade Mineral Oil for Wood Cutting Boards, 12 Fl Oz - Enhanced Wood Care

Been using this for our butcher block countertops. It works pretty great, relatively water resistant. Smells like beeswax when wet but dries to smell like nothing. If water sits before you wipe it off it will leave a mark but you can generally buff the area and then reapply this stuff and it’s nearly invisible. I also use it on cutting boards and I can wash them in the sink with hot soapy water a handful of times before it needs reapplied. I love that it’s nontoxic ingredients and totally food safe! And affordable.

I'm new to having nice wooden boards and my board was looking sooooooo dry since day 1, I thought I just bought a bad board. I recently learned that you're supposed to oil them & was recommended this product. It worked great! I did a round with generous amount of mineral oil and let it sit overnight, then put on this company's conditioner. My husband came in and said "wow, that looks like a completely different board!"

I bought charred wooden whiskey glasses to display with my small batch whiskey aging barrel and they look amazing! Beautiful deep color, good looking char a perfect match for my display. You do need to take a little special care with them… i put this combination of mineral oil and beeswax (available on Amazon for around $10) on the exterior to maintain the beauty and the manufacturer recommends putting that on the clean interior bottom after each use! This combination is very effective of enhancing and protecting the finish on my aging keg and this charred wooden mugs. The consistency is smooth and medium consistency which makes it not run our of the bottle but not have a hard time dispensing… very easy to apply and rub into the wood surface! It’s odorless and rubs into the surface quickly. Not sure if you would call it dry but leaves a very smooth finish very quickly! This bees wax and mineral oil combination a great addition to my maintenance accessories! The bees wax mineral oil is a great value for the money! I highly recommend getting it for a beautiful well maintained charred mugs , cutting boards or other wood products!

Mineral oil ile wax karışımı, ilk yağ sonrası yağ ve wax beraber karışımı niyetiyle kullanılabilir. Yağlamayı iki üç yapıp bitirdikten sonra kullanırsanız bunu, işe yaramaz.

Sicuramente non da l'effetto di una vera e propria cera d'api, ma a differenza della cera ha una applicazione più semplice e si assorbe più rapidamente. Non mi costringe a mettere il tagliere da parte per un paio di giorni e l'effetto è lo stesso pazzesco. Consiglio a chi come me ama cucinare, ha un buon tagliere e vuole tenerlo bene senza troppi sbattimenti

I've been buying this product for a while now. I like how easy it is to use and how quick it is to apply. I use it not only on my butchers block but also on my wooden vanity unit in the bathroom, as well as my over the sink chopping board. It may be more expensive than other brands, but a bottle lasts a long time, so it is value for money as a little goes a long way. You do have to reapply every so often, and I usually apply it at least twice a year to keep the wood conditioned.
