GREAT PRICE w LITTLE QUIRKS...
This pedal is built well and feels solid. It works well and is quiet, it takes 5 milliamps of current...that is very, very little...basically what it takes to power a small LED I suspect controls volume on the inside. Behring is usually a love/hate relationship...often great prices, some very good quality, some very low, some little quirks... This unit comes with a volume pedals to set the minimum volume when the pedal is all the way back...it has a knob and a shaft made of plastic, not nylon or aluminum, but cheap plastic...it took my foot about 2 days to move off of the pedal and break this pot shaft off flush with it's collar. No big deal. You set this once and probably will never want to adjust it or bump it again.. I was able to take my finger and move this shaft even with it broken off flush with the collar and set it...so, it is probably best that it broke off...but this is some of the cheap little details that are some times goofy about this company. Here is another. This pedal has a unique angle of sweep for your foot...it is like driving a farm truck with a weird gas pedal or something...you do get use to it and it does work provided your foot/ankle have a good range of motion, but it is definitely different than any other companies pedal sweep angle. The price is very good for what you get, I plan to get 2 more and would recommend this overall. UPDATE: Have been using this 4 times per week for ten months on the Florida beach and it is working out very well with no problems at all. I am here to get another on for a 2nd back up pedal board I am assembling.

This pedal is sturdy, solid, and gets the job done with no noticeable hiss/noise.
I use this pedal at church to fade in/out ambient pad loops played from my iPad to help with transitions, etc. The pedal is pretty solid and sturdy and can control two separate mono signals simultaneously. I have used one input for the pad loops and the other for click track. I use a cable with 3.5 mm stereo headphone male that terminates in two 1/4" mono male ends. I plug the 3.5mm into the headphone out and the 1/4" into the pedal. This kind of implementation has been tremendously useful in helping the praise band fill-out the sound as well as transitioning discreetly between songs and elements of the worship service. If you start hearing a distorted signal, replace the battery. As of yet, I have not used this pedal as an expression pedal. The sweep is very smooth (though, it may seem a bit fast.) Only cons: 1) getting into the battery compartment is a little cumbersome 2) does not take a standard 9v power source [requires 12v?] and 3) the tilt range to engage/disengage the pedal may be a bit uncomfortable for some [I have not personally had problems with this.]

Good Pedal - one gripe
I got this pedal recently. All in all, it's a pretty nice device, expecially for the price. Seems solid and well-made. It has a nice big pedal for big feet. It works smoothly. I have found no drawbacks to the operation or quality of this pedal. My only gripe, is that the power for the pedal is either by an internal 9V battery, or a 12V plug in power supply. Why the difference? The really bad part (for me) is that I bought this to install in a newly-purchased Behringer pedal board, which comes with a 9V power supply. So, in order for me to use this pedal in the board, I will have to run two different power supplies, or run the pedal on battery and everything else off of the pedalboard's power supply. [Behringer...this was not thought out very well.] I'm now in the process of making myself an voltage adapter, but finding all the right parts has proven so far to be a hassle. Bottom line: the pedal itself is great, but the power supply thing could be a frustration to you. One final note about Behringer...they seem to get bad marks now and then. I really don't understand why. I have two Behringer amps, two of their stomp boxes, the above-mentioned pedal board, and the volume pedal just discussed. I really like all of them. I have never had any problem with any of these items. They perform well, are well made, and certainly, all came at a reasonable price. Behringer's full range of products is so extensive, that I see little reason to buy any other brand. I'm sticking with them.

Want to destroy your guitar tone? Look no further!
Initially I was impressed with the construction of this pedal. It seems rather well built for the price.... thats where the positivity ends. I plugged it into my power supply and it didn't work so I switched to a 9 volt. I took the cover off, attached the battery and spent the next five minutes trying to put the cover back on correctly. The battery cover is a prime example of piss poor engineering IMHO. I plugged it into my rig and when I played I could not believe what I heard.... utter CRAP! Tinny, shrill, thin and above all NOISE NOISE NOISE! I guess there are some things you cannot go cheap on... I've learned my lesson here!

Performs well and is very versatile
I have always wanted a volume pedal but thougt they were too expensive. I recently started playing electric guitar again, so I unpacked my effects (a digitech RP50). I needed a passive volume pedal to exploit the digitech's whammy, octave and wah effects but since my plaing needs don't require to spend 80 to a 100 bucks on an on-the-go rig, I opted for this unit. I am very comfortable with this pedal, it has the same size as my old Dunlop Crybaby wah and I can use it in many ways! I can plug it into my keyboard and use it as a modulator or volume pedal, thus having more control of it when I play or compose. It is very rugged, made of plastic and rubber but I still have to use it some more to see how it withstands the test of time. To install a nine-volt battery you have to dissasemble the bottom of the pedal by unscrewing a single screw, which goes through a small metal piece. (Note the way this piece is assembled though, or you'll have to figure out how it all goes togheter again). I was very pleased with its performance as soon as I figured out how to hook it up to my effects processor(RP50) but still, I have to test it in recording.

For home use, I do not see the point of paying loads more. Strongly built and straightforward to use. Not difficult to put battery in (as has been said in some reviews). Excellent value for money.

Es un buen pedal, lo utilizo para volumen, cumple su función, solo debes de cuidar que el eliminador de corriente sea el adecuado para que no tenga ninguna falla.
